starve them early. theres an argument to put them at 2 because they will just get to flampe and get themselves to 2 anyway while also drawing a card. but i dont like that argument because if i swing, i give them the top card of their life and they keep the flampe in hand. if i force them to play the flampe, then they have to spend a don and lose a 2k in hand to go even (draw replaces flampe, life card replaces life swing in other hypo). so, idk, i just feel like it is marginally better to starve them early to deny cards while forcing out the flampes? but i could also see an argument to put them at 2 then play board from there because it puts them in like decent danger for the rest of the game if you go wide and tall, and it still makes their yamato, ace, and raigo awkward to play, which is what you want to be doing all the time, just making their top end cards weird and feel bad to play. idk, i am still trying out both ways to be honest. The one thing i know for sure is that you definitely just need to clear board all the time and try to out-high-end them with doffy and kid
