I agree 100%. First time I heard the idles was two yrs ago. The drummer got my notice straight away. Plays with immense power, technical ability and crazy endurance!
I remember after the show there was piles of phone cases, hats, wallets... I still wonder if that guy from Denmark got to find that other guy shouting he had his ID. Awesome and brutal but also nicest crowd ever.
Not only are IDLES incredibly well-rehearsed and tight live, but the crowd are second-to-none. I've never seen a crowd start belting out the lyrics like the IDLES crowd do. The show I saw in Bristol was like a religious experience and this was a sliver of that. Can't wait to see the boys again!
@@madlipzjagd5378 If anything didn’t sound tight it’s cause they meant it to be that way. If every note was perfectly in tune and right on the grid or exactly like the album it would be wrong.
Seeing them Thursday night in Toronto at a pretty small venue. It's rare going into a show knowing you're seeing something special in a special setting.
@@scottcooneymusic6736 One, I can see myself in that video cause I was right right right up front, and, when the lead guitarist started crowd surfing, that was on top of me, I have it all recorded as well, legend.
say what u wanna say about the festival organisation but the crowds where simply astonishing every fucking concert, especially this one! truly a historic moment!!
I’ve seen these guys like maybe 15 times now and I’m always in front of Joe and Bobo..but seeing this confirms it man. Lee is in another world. I am astounded at that dudes energy and anyone lucky enough to be in his orbit during a show gets it. God damn man.
I was there! The first time I saw Idles and I was SOLD. What a great band, I've been obsessively listening to their stuff since I've returned home. So glad I added them to my Primavera lineup.
In 2022 Corona Capital in Mexico they played just before Miley Cirus, Joe knew there was plenty of Mileys fans so he went nuts on the performace so the Cirus fans were shocked. It was my first time seeing Idles live now I’m a huge fan!!!
One of the bests shows not only at the festival but in my life, I was on the first row on the left side with a healing broken wrist :') found myself lmao 54:20
I was there at the front on Bowen's side, they absolutely smashed it ❤️ I first discovered IDLES at Primavera 2018, on one of the small stages right at the corner of site after seeing The National play. Watching them headline Cupra was an amazing way to come full circle
ERA EU QUE TAVA GRITANDO ISSO UASHUASHHSUASAU EU TAVA BEM NA GRADE, NO COMEÇO GRITEI "VAI CARAIOOOOO" TAMBEM EM 00:58. porra que momento incrivel que foi isso, saudades
Best set of weekend 1 in my opinion. I was absolutely drenched in sweat (mine and other people's, for sure) by the end. I'm gonna try to find myself in the crowd now.
I ended up right in front of Lee for the majority of this thanks to the mosh!! Best concert (and nicest pit) I've been! So glad this was my first time seeing them. Still not over it. Hopefully everyone ended up finding their phones, wallets, shoes etc. ❤️
for some reason i noticed very late (about 47 minutes) that i was listen this in 1.25 speed, this is amazing, a fucking storm and holiday happening all together in my head
Beautiful. First experienced them live at the Primavera Sound Porto in 2018, blew my mind right there, I watched them and then couldnt stay for anything else, I swear. They're now a much, much better band and I have to see them live again soon!
Respect to the crowd and IDLES! Mother is top of the setlist!!! Amazing perfomance....saw them a few days ago at Rock for People, Czechia...and in mosh pit it great...but this is class itself.... life changing experience.
Some bands have a mosh pit..some bands have locals in the front..when they pan out to the crowd..and the whole fkn audience is mosh/jump/surfing..then you know you have the best thing to happen to music since sound was invented
I haven’t seen this much control and power on the stage since queen took the stage for Live Aid. Holy hell, IDLES are the goat. Ya’ll are something else. Bless you and your families and bless primavera
Third and last time seeing them this year and they blew me away, loved watching it back, they each put so much energy and passion into their performances. Incredible set 🖤
Que envidia por los que estuvieron ahí, ojala vuelvan a la Argentina con show propio no a un festival. O si es un festival que sea todas las bandas del mismo estilo :)
This band is absolutely amazing. If it wasn't for Gorillaz playing at the same time, I will have die there for sure. I'm completely stunned by all of them. These guys are pure hardcore!
Yeah exact same. If I had an equal shot at seeing both IDLES and Gorillaz sometime again in the future I'd have definitely gone to see IDLES. But Gorillaz is like bucket-list tier and I don't regret seeing them one bit, it was spectacular. I'm really glad they chose to upload this full set, though because that clash was probably the hardest one in the whole weekend.
