the slower the better tbh, it's awesome anyway

The really early live versions are all this fast. They stopped playing it for a bit to work on it and when they started playing it again it was super slow. Way slower than it ended up on the album. I loved the early fast version but I think eventually it ended up perfect. The way it builds up gets me every time.

What isn't okay is the cycle of forcing ideals of masculinity on others- Not every man or boy is going to be classically masculine and some who are just come into it later in life. I agree. I think the song (and the band) does an amazing job of guiding you through the song. It’s okay to be masculine, a proud man. More accurately, a proud gentleman. But what it comes down to is respect and honesty. Sometimes that means being vulnerable. Sometimes that means communicating. Sometimes that means stepping out of the box the world puts you in. There’s no real excuse for it, but look at our grandfathers. War veterans who died with carnage in their memory. They kept it to themselves and never sought peace or closure over what happened to them or what they did. It’s time men start taking more responsibility for how we act, how we treat each other and how we can improve the world around us.

I feel that! I watched it years ago and took me forever to find it again. So happy I did :)

Yeah I' wish I was there

Rockpalast is one of the most consistent amazing programs on german nation television. My parents watched the Police concert back then and i watched a lot of other great live shows in the past 20 years and nearly everyone is perfect.

Them guitar players couldn't lace Fast Eddie Clark s boots. This band aren't in the same league as the ruts live performances...

Original Motorhead live gigs makes these guys look and sound like amateurs....

Dont miss the opportunity. Just back to Arizona from San Francisco.. took the trip to catch em since they weren't in AZ. Best live show I have ever been to. Intimate venue, sold out, at the Fillmore, with the Unity of the SF crowd... was pricelsess!
