I love IDLES, as do so many. Man, I genuinely feel bad about those on here just to troll riff on them. Think they’re missing the point of the band entirely, and whether or not you like their music, if you’re not being a weenie you can acknowledge and admire their message and reason for making noise. These dudes have helped me through some rough patches; every show we’ve been to is like a warm energetic and empowering hug; the fans and the band are good people, regardless of whether or not you feel so compelled to poop on them in the comment section.😆👍❤️
yeah too right, the state of these comments... gonna have my IDLES debut at ally pally at the end of november (the first night of the two); fully expecting to feel part of that warm, fuzzy feeling of family amongst likeminded souls - it comes across in the live footage ive seen and comments from fans ive read...

Start with From the Basement. Then listen chronologically start to finish - they are one of the most inspiring bands I have come across in the last 20 years
When you grow up into a big girl you will realise that bands are not "important" they are entertainment, that's why the exist that's how they make money. They support the same causes as the people that got to see them to get more of your money.

I'm not too sure but I think I saw in an interview somewhere that it's about his gratitude towards being able to have his friends and family cause he had a child that passed away a while back.

Great music, but shit politics, Talbot needs to get his facts right before he stars spouting of about Farage, boat people and pro Palestine, he should watch the footage of what hamas did that day at that festival, he's just jumping on the woke bandwagon because he'll do anything to be liked.
