Also, numerous controversies have also been unearthed as being staged to draw more attention to the accused idols. In the case of Minji, she knows she has weaknesses and she is working on them, she is humble and I congratulate her for that. Leeseo and Wonyoung, well ,nothing can be said about the situation other than it has done its job, it already has people talking about them, hence also drawing attention the IVE overall. I am starting to get wary of Wonyoung, I used to defend her because she reminded me of Jennie and Sulli with the baseless accusations against their character but now I am starting to believe that Wonyoung has some attitude problems. I mean it is obvious she has a center obsession, many centers don't follow the line up when it comes to unofficial photos. I will use Kara as an example, Hara was the visual and one of the most popular members but it was Gyuri who was the center for the group and Gyuri didn't follow the center position when it came to unofficial photos. The same can be said for G-idle, Soyeon is the center and she doesn't follow the rules all the time as well. Wonyoung entered the industry young and was loved and given a lot of attention all throughout her teen years so I think she has gain a bit of an ego. She needs to learn to be humbled or she will face some repercussions quite soon since people are getting tired of her.

See I'm not a Newjeans stan but since their debut everytime I saw their debut Minji just kept catching my eyes. Like my eyes just keep drifting towards her no matter what. I don't listen to them a lot or follow them a lot but based on what I saw from their music show & award stages I see no reason why Minji shouldn't be confident in all of her skills. That girl really stands out with her presence. Of course Hanni has very catchy vocals which really draws you in but when it comes to being a complete performer with "That" aura Minji really has it all in her.
People do realise saying "company is forcing them to do this it that" is absolutely absurd. When I started stanning IVE I fell in love with Wonyoung, I didn't really listen to izone cause I was a new kpop fan so when I first saw her I thought she was like this perfect image and I thought nonsense of the hate she got but now these days I mean I have been looking at comments and all people are saying is it's hard to defend her and I agree because every time anywhere there's a camera she has to look perfect and be the center and she isn't a soloist she is in a group and everybody has their place and are a center in their own category but I say that Wonyoung is taking that away from the other members. (edit: also blaming starship for not have other members to show off their skills)

In kpop world where everything can bring you down, you do need to be confident. This is the perfect example!, anti-fans jump straight and call Minji "arrogant" when they didn't even acknowledge what she wrote, they just want to make an issue and say something negative...so that calling Minji arrogant will lessen her confidence and these anti-fans think they won or something...
Idk if anyone else would've taken it this way, but even if Minji answered the question "which skills are you best at?" and she circled all of them... i would have taken it as sarcasm. when i first heard the controversy i laughed bc it just sounds like a very Minji thing to do
Minji didn't said she's literally the best she just said likes these factors about her and the fact that most of you antis ignored her writing on top the question just explains how hypocrite you guys are. She wouldn't have been in a hybe group if she wasn't a all rounder. And as a leader and also in a 4th gen group it's important to be a all rounder and confident in this industry. I just don't like when fans cant except their fav idols mistakes or real personalities and so they make excuses for them. If an idol has done something truly wrong u should hold them accountable for their actions, not bash, hate or disrespect them. In the case of Ive and New Jeans I don't think they're terrible people at all, they r literally teenagers trying to accomplish their dreams in one of the harshest industries in Korea. The K-media doesn't help either because they show bits and pieces of the real picture and portray them as selfish, attention seeing and arrogant when in reality if u watch there content in depth you'll see that they r incredibly sweet girls

the cost of being an idol :/ look, im not a wonyoung fan, i didnt really like her myself at first, but this is getting too much. she may seem a little overconfident and else but that doesn’t give anyone the right to hate and bring controversies about her up every week. we’ve seen idols be pushed to the brink of the edge, even suicide because of this constant hate, stop bringing her up for clout, will you. idols are also humans, we’ve all done some nasty shit, they can make mistakes too.
