21 kilos at 70% gold is about 14.7 kilos at $76,892/kilo for a total of $1,130,312.40 (U.S.) so the gentleman was correct saying that gold bar was worth a little more than $1mil U.S.

Kudos to Idris. I'm a geologist and I vomit every time I do this in a new mine. I soon get used to it, but the claustrophobia is real. It's a tough job.

they disassemble and sometimes chop them up before lowering the pieces and then reassembling them. it can take weeks to do the whole process

Yes it all has a reason to be inside the earth, but we don't just use gold to keep it in shiny necklaces we also use it to power electronics.

gold is used to power computers, phones and tons of electronics, also used satellites, without gold we wont even have internet today since gold powers the electronics industry.
