Lol.. I'm more of a ballroom-dancer rather than Latin-American. I do enjoy a Jive / Rumba once in a while but I must say... I will NEVER be this good in Latin. O.o Incredible!
i hate when some people start to love or say the couple whit the hardest steps or the most fun steps are the best..... the steps don´t meen that they are the best ;d
Matej and Iwona- Joined UK open 2010 (semis) Stefano and olga- aso joined (made to the semis) Eugene and Maria- didn't join Melinda and Skufca- made it to the finals Alexsey and anna- didn't join the UK open Zoran and Tatsiana- won the UK open
i guess the idsf panel of judges should change the way they judge the couples...it should be the style that should have the higher percentage in judging...because these dances is a form of entertainment...dat's all...
he was good, the guy is extremely fast and flexible but correct he has an extremely athletic movement but he's improved a lot (though still athletic but I think Anna Melnikova made up for the elegance part) I think annalisa (he said it himself) partnering with his sister was slowing down his performance but they we're still good
The Italian and Hungarian styles are amazing. The American style (that Katsevman uses) seems too hard, too stiff... but he does deserve props for his skills. I dig him... just not as much as Vescovo or DiFilippo.
try doing that at that speed for 1:30 secs then tell me its not a sport... WITH PROPER TECHNIQUE (the hop at the kick, the pointed feet while kicking and feet turned out while doing it oh lets not forget the bounce from the body)
To me, the soul of Jive is gone in this trying to make it a sport. The costumes, the shoes, the rhythm --nothing says 'Jive' or fun. The art is gone. Ballroom dancing isn't supposed look like throwing a shot put, swimming a few laps, or table tennis.
