APOLOGIES! The K4/0 Remote Head is NOT a radio. It does not produce RF. It is used to remote control a K4 radio. SORRY FOR ANY CONFUSION!

W2RE has some big stations ... he just started a new RU-vid all about towers and their assembly and it is a really great channel ... maybe a interview is in the future ??

Hope you enjoyed your first trip to the Intern. DX Convention. Unfortunately the number of vendors present was very light compared to previous years but at least many provided prize support. You did a nice job at the Saturday dinner. I missed your live presentation but looking forward to the video. i hope your videos will inspire others to attend and hopefully improve the vendor count too. Perhaps you can contact some and persuade them to attend next year. I'll drop an email to N6RV and K6SY asking them to invite you next year. Friedrichshafen is going to be extra tricky this year because of the Euro 2024. Prices have doubled and the accommodation is impossible to find. Also, good luck with that flight from Yugoslavia :)

Add voice modes and 10meters to that KH1 and I’d buy 2 instantly. Can’t think of why companies don’t make a radio that’s just like the KH1, but with voice, 10 meters, and 100 watts? Just an all in one self contained unit.

Put SSB. CW, digital, and 100 watts into a KH-1? Thats is physically impossible.

@@HamRadioCrashCourse oh I didn’t mean the same size. Lol I meant if the KH1 had SSB and 10 meters, I’d buy two immediately. Separately, idk why someone doesn’t make a radio with everything all in one package like the KH1 but bigger. Internal mic, keyer, battery, tuner, etc. just plug in an antenna and get on the air

@@HamRadioCrashCourse yet the truSDX has it at that size just not with the internal battery… that’s my frustration: 3-4 companies have all the things individually. Is it just marketing that keeps it from combining or I’m just misunderstanding? A small, EVERYTHING internal radio that only requires an antenna. No power supply, no mic, no external tuner… am I crazy? lol There’s a reason laptops exist. All the externals are inconvenient and tons of people want an all in one device
