She is a very nice mare. Very quiet demeanor. She is going to go far . The training is one of the best.

I had the same issue with my mustang mare, not enough forward. I believe it was a mix of: - she needed to find her balance with me - she needed to build up muscles and get conditioned - she just questioned if she really needed to work (she is a very dominant mare) I rode her initially 3 times a week 20 min. Let her run every day freely. Round pen on non riding days. 4 months later: she moves nicely. A good forward in a relaxed way. She sometimes starts to collect. Isidrio and Amber know this of course how with time and training the mustangs improve ❤. But I thought it would be good to know for others.

My mustang mare is very much like her. For her it is all about "what is in it for me to go forward?" I always figure she thinks she needs to save her energy for running from a mountain lion! It is interesting to have a horse with more whoa than go since my last horse was an Arab! :) Have fun with her!
