Very useful and practical. Thank you so much. Btw, here is the whole scripts for those who will need to print out a copy: Examiner : Are there a lot of festivals in your country? Candidate : oh yes. There are plenty. We celebrate a wide array of traditional and modern festivals in Hong Kong. To name a few, we celebrate Chinese New Year Buddha's birthday and Easter. Examiner : What local festivals do you have in your country? Candidate : let's see. There are quite a lot of festivals that are unique to Hong Kong. On one hand we have a lot of exhilarating and colorful local festivals like dragon boat festival and mid-autumn festival. On the other hand, we have a fair share of traditional solemn festivals like the hungry ghost festival. Examiner : Do you celebrate Christmas? Candidate : Yes, a hundred percent. I celebrate Christmas with my family and friends at home. We normally prepare a Christmas feast then watch some Christmas movies or sing karaoke afterwards. Sometimes we also plan trips to other countries during the holiday. We thought it was a great way to shake things up for the holidays. Examiner : What religious festivals are there in your city? Candidate : I find Hong Kong quite a peculiar case here. With people from all walks of life living in the city there are still a heap of religious festivals in Hong Kong. There's Christmas and Easter but also a lot of traditional Chinese festivals such as the tomb sweeping festival where we pay respect to our ancestors. Examiner : Who do you like celebrating festivals with? Candidate : I'd say that I enjoy celebrating festivals with my family and friends. We do almost everything together, so it's hard to imagine myself celebrating without them. It's always great spending time with them and we have our own set of traditions we practice during holidays such as dressing up in ridiculous costumes and playing board games on Halloween unless it's time for us to hit the hay. Examiner : What is the most important festival in your city? Candidate : The way I see it Chinese New Year is the most popular festival in Hong Kong. A lot of traditions that are practiced during the festival revolve around luck and fortune. With that in mind I feel that this makes Chinese New Year a crowd pleaser for both young and old. It's hard to ignore the lively festivities either because the celebrations take place in every nook and corner of Hong Kong.
