How is a small youtuber giving us the info we actually need that none off the big reviewers with thousands off subscribers can`t be bothered to do? Thank you for the work!
Nozzle diameter is an important factor mainly for comfort. Wider nozzle creates a pressure point inside the ear canal. For me personally, the QKZ x HBB Khan and both the Truthear x Crinacle Zeros creates the discomfort in long listening sessions. And also this will help you to choose the right sized third party ear tips.
Damn it took me so long to find this video again. Can you change the title to "IEM nozzle size comparison" so its easier to find in the search results.
This is so dope bro thanks for making this. How much of a difference is it wearing/feel of Hola vs Truthear Crinacle Red (are they pretty much the same [with same tip sizes - preferably L tips]?
Thank you so much❤️. Red and khan are the most uncomfortable IEMs in my collection. Their nozzle isn't just wider, even longer. Which hurts ear canal. Hola on the other hand is really comfortable. But i think it is now discontinued.
Haha, I usually use few IEMs. QKZ x HBB or EPZ G10 for gaming. Castor bass, Wan'er, 7Hz Zero 2, Moondrop May for music and Movies. This is my preference, I know how good some others are in their own way, and some are more technical, but not for me. Most of them are too bright for me.
@@weirdear95 Even the Moondrop LAN ? and how it is in gaming compared to the EPZ G10 and the QKZ X HBB ? And did yoipu face any moisture issues with metal build IEMs (Chu 1&2, Simgot, ..etc) ? And Thank you
@@weirdear95 so what do you recommend for gaming and watching movies with immersive experience and hearing footsteps and the soundstage good And thank you for the reply
Thank you!!! I destroyed the disc from my jaw and I need surgery. It affects the ear also. I still need to wait more then a month for surgery. In the meantime I was trying to find a shallow and narrow nozzle iem. I can only use the EA500. Maybe the z300 is also a option
I'm really sorry for what happened to you. Hope everything will be alright. Yes, the z300 is a good option. All the simgot IEMs maintain great fit and comfort. They are definitely good options for your condition.
Nozzle diameter is 6mm. But i still haven't used filters yet and doesn't have a right idea about their sizes. Internal diameter of the nozzle is around 5.5mm.
Would you considering creating Google doc with all these measurements? Most database I see are about price, sound signature, and personal ratings, but so rarely these measurements that are very important to consider. Especially some of us who can't demo and have to blind buy. Nozzle diameter is crucial for choosing IEMs as well as finding the right third-party eartips to purchase. Would love to see a database and have it occasionally updated. Thanks for doing this.
Hey, that's actually a great idea. Thanks for that. I always think about how to make it more practical and easy to understand, how to give the exact sense through a camera. I will work on your idea and also will experiment on the best ways I can bring those measurements to you, to have the real sense. ❤️
@@weirdear95 What you've currency been doing with recent videos including the measurements is already great, and of course having visual comparison is also better than just looking through Google doc, though that helps as well for easy search. A combination of both is a great boon!
Awesome video! Wish somebody would do this with small bullet style. I found some tiny IEM's from KBEar that looked perfect for in my helmet, the Little Q's. I sent a message to KBEar asking what size the nozzle is. They said 3.5mm so I excitedly ordered them... Only to have them arrive and be 5.5mm. Tried them anyway and... Yea, that ain't gonna fit my ears.
@@weirdear95 That's awesome! I know I have small ear canals. I wear the smallest foam plugs I can get. When I said they're a no go I should have said... I tried the Little Q's with the included silicon tips and it's a definite no go. I can't get them to stay in or seal so I ordered some foam tips to try. Hopefully that works. I know Etymotic has their ER's but I was hoping to experiment for a lot less than those cost. I'll see if the foam tips work or not and go from there I guess. Thanks!
@@Ryan_H22 Nice. Another thing you need to keep in mind that ear tips does a big impact to the sound quality. Yes, the foam tips gives a better fit but it makes the overall signature warmer. Got to try different ear tips to understand, but the problem is ear tips are expensive.
@@weirdear95 Thanks for the information! Honestly I'm not a huge audiophile type so if it sounds OK I'll be good. I'm mostly looking to listen to a little music but more so hear my GPS on the bike. I ran into a post saying a couple of the Final E series are about 4.4mm so I may try those if the foam tips don't work out on the Little Q's.
