True but it still has got quite the reputation, at least among those interested in pursuing an engineering career. I live in Morocco and many of my "nerd" friends do know about it

Caltech student here. I have never taken a single in person exam at Caltech. I have taken most of my exams either at my desk or in my bed.

Those are high expectations, I know many people in my middle-high school who would try and cheat..

Plus there’s really no reason to distract other students, we’re all suffering enough together 🥲 it really is nice how cooperative we are though, I’ve heard a lot horror stories from friends at other universities. I think it’s a function of how few pre meds there are, but that’s another debate for another day 😃
