I would say almost Emo…. The original is a little more loud and harsh which is more rock… this version is a bit more emotionally soft (Emoish). I do see what you are saying though ❤😊

I feel you, from what i've read, Everlong was a very close and personal song for Dave Grohl, which is why when he couldn't find anyone he sees fit to play the instruments to this song he just like "fuck it" and play all of the intruments himself during the original recording of Everlong

Dave Grohl's acoustic solo version is great as well

I agree and this interpretation keeps the feel of the song, but makes it stand alone also.. and depending on your mood.. the original or this one will get in the feels at the right time..
