if you hit this david tennant you will get a memory for all 18 anniversary specials he is in and will be in after bbc decides to cryogenically freeze him
@@ranjanasharan4051Doctor Who 200th anniversary special starring David Tennant as the 10th Doctor, Metacrisis Doctor, 14th Doctor, 27th Doctor, John Smith and The Master!
*Fun Fact:* They were actually gonna use William Hartnell's face in the original opening. But then they thought it would be too scary for younger viewers, so his face was removed from the intro.
@@Monocheto1but that’s why they have him smiling, to show “hey it’s the doctor, don’t be scared” but back in 63 people didn’t know who or what the doctor was so had no frame of reference, might of even assumed he was the villian.
Ok I love the Jodie one, I’m a fan of the modern interpretation where it’s only a partial face like in matt smiths, that’s the sort of thing id have id I was ever in charge of doctor who, have my doctors face be in an outline of stars or something
Thank you so much from myself, lan the dog, Uncle Barry and his kitten Henry and little sister Henrietta, we can now live joyful happy lives knowing that some soul has provided us with this comment to one of the greatest songs in human history! May many flowers rain down upon you when you're buying groceries and may the mayonnaise never go out of date
For 9, 10 and 14, it was so random to see there face just out of nowhere like that, especially 9 and 10, there faces would not appear right as the intro started, if every doctor had their face on the intro, so for the doctors that didnt, there faces should come either just before the logo or just after before the episode title, would be better, not just randomly flying past the camera and a random point
agreed, and in my opinion that's when the Doctor Who theme is most powerful. Look up the David Arnold version of the theme if you don't know, it would be perfect for those visuals@@LordColondy
Well actually they did film a segment of the titles where the Donna and 14 would be seen peering out of the Tardis in the Titles and they did the same for 15 and Ruby. But Moffat said he didn’t like it.
When I first started watching the show I used to hate the floating faces in the intro but now they’ve really grown on me. It help fans to instantly know which doctor they are watching even if they don’t recognise the name as faces are much more distinctive.
“Whilst traveling through the time vortex, the TARDIS will try it’s best not to hit the new Doctors. Besides that David and Ncuti are coming, so who wants peanuts!”
i like that you only put 13's eyes as you followed the trend of both 11 doctor (second intro series 7 b) and 12th doctor intros where only their eyes are mostly present
David Tennant’s face appearances in this are the only goofy ones. The Jodi one was really cool and looked more natural. Ncuti’s one was slightly goofy too but not as much as David Tennant’s. I think if they bring the face intros, it should be from the new series onwards and show full faces flying at full speed.🤣
I think the faint blent in look like you did with 13 and 11’s second intro and 12’s intro where their face is lightly emerging from the vortex almost like an apparition. With the new Disney budget especially they could have some cool little effects of Ncuti’s face in the titles. I think the Doctor’s face in the intro gives a very unique vibe to the show especially with it having been status quo in the classic era

Poorly Edited all around, just pngs appearing, not blended in at all, needs something more than them just appearing with some kind of effect. Even the 1960s Troughton intro was blended into the effects. Would love to see you re-visit this in a few years time when you've developed your skills a bit and know more about video editing.
These are all really cool. The concepts are nice, I think the VFX could use some touchups though. The idea is there, but I think the faces should be "less obvious." Like, instead of it just being a png of their faces, make it meld into the intro itself similar to 11's newer intro and 12's intro. You did this very well with 13's intro!
Now I wanna see what it would look like with Ncuti Gatwa's face in the "Space Babies" style intro sequence, since they redid the intro visuals to fix the powerpoint esque way the show's title card appeared
For a few of these, it's not the greatest and feels really goofy. But some of the others were really good. My favorite being the transition to the vortex from 8's eye.
0:01 William Hartnell 0:26 Paul McGann 1:30 Christopher Ecclestone 2:09 David Tennant (the first time) 2:44 Jodie Whittaker 3:19 David Tennant (the second time) 3:47 Ncuti Gatwa
Why do the 14th and the 15th Doctors' faces appear at different moments of the intros, if the originals of their intros differ only in the names of the actors?!
Is no-one else going to comment that they mixed the intros for Planet of the Dead and The End of Time. Michelle Ryan wasn't in The End of Time part one, let alone in the opening titles.
Yeah most of them look kinda forced in. I mean it's not your fault if there isn't a time and a space to put the face. The only was that truely works is 13. Should probably have tried something similar for the others as well
I mean Ncuti would have looked better had that not made the image solid. Yo have it blnded rather than with its own colour, it wouldn't have been so jarring.
