Thank you so much John for this movie....for my kid and my grandkid and me! We all had them and YOU have made it possible for us all to be kids again!!!!! I'm crying and laughing just with the trailer....❤❤❤❤
One of my favorite imaginary friends who I made up besides Melody, the mermaid is Rainbow Sparkleshine, the talking unicorn. She used to not talk at all before until now. I think it's really cool that you can make your own kind of friends and that you can make them do whatever you want them to do,like talking. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Growing up, the only imaginary friend I had so far was Melody, the mermaid. She lived in the lake with her really big family behind my old house in Greensboro,Maryland. It's a really funny story because neither of us knew that we were watching each other in the woods that my brothers and I liked to call, Never Land, until Melody, the mermaid and I finally got used to seeing each other every day and then we became best friends after that. We would tell each other about everything. I never thought about having an imaginary friend before until I was 17 years old. Now that I'm 35 years old, I have a lot more imaginary friends that I never thought I would make up and it's so much fun to talk with all of them.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I never had one as a child myself, but I can understand the appeal of one... So once again #RyanReynolds, you're going to take my hard earned money and make me want to cry...
I laughed so hard I cried 🤣at the scene where the girls says "...and don't say IFs." That has never happened to me before. What kind of trailer voodoo is this?!
So this is kinda like Drop Dead Fred meets a Pixar/Dreamworks movie. Drop Dead Fred is about a girl who had an imaginary friend til she was forced to grow up, when her life falls apart she finds him again and he helps her refind the inner child she left behind.
Drop Dead Fred was my first thought, too. But like the OPPOSITE of DDF. I'm looking forward to this - I need something that's just fun and sweet.... Too much 'dark' in the brain.
I like how IF has a double meaning to it. If as in Imaginary Friend like in the trailer. But also if as in "WHAT IF?" like what if this existed. What if that existed? What if i made a giant fury purple monster that liked pizza and vomitted rainbows when stressed?
gonna watch it when it is out but would of prefered it if it was actually from foster's home for imaginary friends from classic cartoon network but it still looks fun to see
I'll say this this is a lot better than that horror movie based off of imaginary friends because who would in their right mind would turn something that is innocent and playful to something so horrific and terrifying that just destroys the meaning of childhood I mean seriously why would you do something like that well this movie shows comedy friendship and meaning to the imaginary friends are what they are supposed to be so I can't wait to see this movie once it comes out
@@zacharyshort384 what I am saying is mostly why turn something that is pure and innocent in everyday lives for kids into something that it's not supposed to be I mean seriously it's like people are running out of ideas and they think oh what if we turn this that's supposed to be something innocent for children and turn into something new for our viewers to watch that is horrific and terrifying that's my biggest issue you don't have to reply back to me after I send you this message but that's just how I see it and feel about it
@@austinterpstra1398 We are talking about movies. Just about every genre has the creative license of turning something into "something that it's not supposed to be". It's called fantasy, and it's not unique to the horror genre. Most kid films have real things turned into fantastical things. So let's be real here, that's not the real issue for you. It's just that's horror specifically ;) If you [or anyone else] does not want to watch that horror film then don't watch it. If you [or anyone else] does not want their children to watch that horror film, then don't let them. How about we let people make the movies they want to make, and let the people that want to watch it, watch it. Is this not sensible?? O_o It's fine how you see it and feel about it. Just like it's fine how I see and feel about what you're saying. I think you're being silly, and feel you're just biased against a specific genre of films :)
Did this start out as a Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends movie that got canceled and re-worked into this? A boy and girl lead, the lead imaginary character is named Blue, a bunch of imaginary characters that were abandoned/forgotten. This had to have once been a script for that show.
I'm telling you now..I think Ryan Reynolds is actually an imaginary friend too. We probably find out towards the end of the movie.😮😮🎉 You're welcome 🤗😁🤗
