What's sad about this is I'm pretty sure the only difference between men and women in this context is the fact that men are expected to initiate the DM conversation. Otherwise we will both be trying to figure out what to say
The most beautiful girl I met at the university where I worked in Austria had lunch with me and also asked to waltz with me. I would spend hours crafting messages in German about Schopenhauer and other weighty topics. Eventually, for reasons I could not figure out, she wrote, "ich finde deine Nachrichten, Briefe, ... respektlos und werde sie in Zukunft nicht mehr lesen." So, ladies who wrote and/or performed this sketch, that's why men send the crude DMs. They take less time and they get the same result. And, while you won't admit it, you probably notice them more.

As a person who often gets dm's from girls he doesnt know (both bot & real) i never had one send that to me. It remains akward though. Had one make a buissines proposition, another one just send her measurements. Girls suck in general at picking up guys 😂
