That was a thriller of a game, especially knowing that a win would put Gukesh into the lead, and force Nepo to play catch-up for the first time in three Candidates. The final classical round is going to be wild!
Great Game one of the best from the tournament being a Gukesh fan it was great to see him win Alireza played a Great game as well he’s had a disappointing tournament but I think the future still holds great things for him to achieve yet Good Luck to Gukesh in his game vs Hikaru thanks for this recap James Enjoy your day
I think he he himself will disagree. Antanio is the OG when it comes to yt chess commentary. But ofcourse, for us, epic chess is much more well understood and we love him ❣️
@@SamuelPearlmanI watch both and Gotham as well Which one someone prefers is just personal opinion the three of them are my favorites but being a chess addict I’ll even check out other you tubers as well the more the merrier 😅♟️
In india the games start at 12.15AM , I follow for some time and then go to sleep and wake up in the morning to watch Agadmator to find out what happened 😂
it was great so many people were staying awake at night to watch chess even if its for a little bit. It shows how popular it has become in last 3-4 years
@@backslash8874 I did that for round 14. But unfortunately couldn't do it for other days, I would stay awake till 3.30 or 4, and then just couldn't continue due to next day's work
Ali needs to change his name. Alirezignation Firouzja. no? Well, was as if Gukesh saw his intentions each move. OH NO you don't, Ali. like that sneaky knight attempt near the end. Be nice if Gukesh wins the touwney. heheh touwnement.
why doesn't black play r takes Pawn at A2 at the end? White can't stop it. next moce, black places R on b2. then marches pawn, and/or takeswhite pawn on the b file. White rook can't stop it.

Alireza made amazing moves but he always lets his guard down and blunders unimportant transition moves. This should be an easy weakness to fix with work and then he would be incredibly strong. Gukesh game is based more on the will to win and work his brain at maximum capacity but i don't see genius in him.
Can't believe how after soo many Ruy Lopez variations, it's still considered 'rock solid' especially in opening yet somehow has most exciting games I've seen! Why am I still (boring?) not a Lopez fan?
