Funny thing, I've been suffering depression for 12 years (rn I'm feeling down as you can guess) and idk this song helps me get it off my chest. Watching the Hidden Inventory arc was quite something. It felt like the characters were going through the same emotions I did back then, right before stuff got ugly. Geto becoming loco loco felt especially relatable. Unlike him-- thanks God-- my health improved after some time when I met a silly classmate. Being with him felt like being just an average teen and not some angsty traumatized kid with no future. Making dumb jokes, trash talking him over his shitty personnality, taking a picture of us both, being indirectly asked some dating advices ("so I have this friend who..."), getting detention together because we argued too much in class, being in denial, having fun, caring, experiencing first love. He gave me my childhood back. I wish I could have stayed with him. I wish I could have accepted his feelings. That I wasn't so sick that I could have gotten the kind of happy end you see in movies. But although it was bittersweet, our parting did feel like a happy ending. If somehow all the shit I got was what led me to him, it's fine I'm at peace with it. So I decided to be the kind of person that makes people laugh, just like he did. I'm still depressive nowadays but it doesn't matter. The world we live in can be fucking annoying but it is beautiful also. I feel lucky to be here. This song reminds me of all that. On the other hand, the opening Ao no Sumika gets me bawling my eyes out lol It shouldn't because the characters are having fun and the rythm is cheery but it has the opposite effect on me. I listen to it and I'm like "why does the world suck so bad" "bring their childhood back plz"
@@naiqiza we can bro 🙂 The thing is to never give up on yourself. The longer you stick around and live your life, the higher are the chances for something good to happen. For now you can simply learn to enjoy stuffs around you be it anime, music, nature, activities, jokes and stuff. These things are good enough to enjoy existing because you're here to experience them. When you can relate to some content, you can feel attached to its creator because they are someone who shared the same thoughts as you somehow. So it means, even though you feel alone right now, there are people out there who understand you and it's good enough too
I have the strangest feeling you and that friend met for a time because of your health. The world or Atleast for me.. god has a way of bringing people together. Your time together healed a part of yourself that you thought you never had. That’s all it takes. Goes to show how much a friendship can save you. (tw: cringe af) As a jjk fan, idk y but besides this reminding me of hollow purple this reminds me of someone or me letting go of other people. Saying how the world wouldn't accept them being together and how they were never meant to work out.(cringe? Yes) I had a friend who was a fan of gojo and i was a fan of geto, we were best friends. She prefered a online friend over me, She was toxic, and idiotic. (she also goes out my comfort zone) I stopped being friends with her months ago. I still remember her smile, the way we laughed together, the way we always said "We are like gojo and geto!!" I still remember it like it was yesterday. I miss her, but i had to let go. She prefered someone over her friend. Left my group. She pretended to be depressed. She was greedy. I feel wrong that i say this..but looking at it I can't help but agree. Through the whole song I imagine me seeing that friend, talking back and forth. With tension,anger, sadness filling the air.
