Been using the Thoth deck and only the Thoth deck for nearly 30 years. My first deck was a present. Be sure to grab a copy of 777 if you don't have one. Every correspondence to every card, from perfumes, to minerals, to angels, to I Ching is revealed. Thanks for the vid!

Believe it or not, I've never had a Rider-Waite deck! Narrowing down my favorite tarot decks is a lot easier than oracle decks. I mostly use my pocket sized Thoth or Wild Unknown Tarot decks for the bread and butter of my readings these days. Hermetic Tarot has a lot of sentimental value because that is the first deck I got really serious about studying, and I still use it sometimes. Tarot in Darkness is a deck I use when I really need blunt and powerful readings, as it is very no-nonsense for me, but not always the most uplifting :') Oracles I use a lot of them on a regular basis for different purposes, a lot of times just adding a card or two to a spread from several different ones. If I really had to narrow it way down: Oracle of Shapeshifters- Incredibly good deck for shadow work Beyond Lemuria- Really powerful art with uplifting and awakening imagery Liminal Spirits- This deck's divination ability is dead on every time and somehow pulls intuition out of me even though the images are mostly very simple Wild Unknown Animal Spirit- Probably the most well balanced Oracle deck I've ever used and each card can mean a lot of different things depending on the spread placement and connections to other cards in the spread Wild Unknown Archetypes- Great add-on cards for readings, especially useful in relationship spreads Seasons of Witch Samhain Oracle- Got this last month and can't put it down. Great divination, great for shadow work.

I love this video. Thank you so much for sharing. The Radiant Rider Waite deck is one I have had for a very long time and it is still my go to deck, especially when reading for clients. They are easily able to see what I am talking about and relaying to them. Like yours mine has held up very well.

I believe you when you talk about the deviant moon, but I really feel no call to it. The imagery is not my cuppa tea. The Thoth I'd love to study, but again, the artwork is so busy... Is there a prettier Thoth based deck you could recommend? Your rattie rune deck is really something. Super cute! I believe that's how I got to know about you! Researching rune decks and falling in love with it.

I love that you chose decks you felt you'd get the most use out of, the ones that would be most practical. I've been thinking about this lately, that if I had to abandon my house and could only take so much with me, what decks would I grab as possibly the only ones I'd have forever more, and 10 was the number I figured I'd have to narrow it down to in such a case. Yes, my main Thoth deck would be one of mine. I'd definitely have at least one TdM deck, and the one I'd bring I'd also manage to sneak along my two backups of it because I wouldn't lose those forever. Talking about my deck collection will have to wait until I unpack it. Awww, your Rattie Runes deck is so cute! I love the pictures of Rattie with your runes. Interesting, you used the AngloSaxon runes with the Elder Futhark names. I love those last two oracle decks. I also have an IChing deck that I'd take with me, a vintage one I bought. I'm too new to tarot to even have 10 decks lol - but so far I've found I really don't care to use (altho' it helps to know) the Rider Waite and am steering away from any complicated cards for now. I do have and enjoy the Everyday Witch tarot deck and EW oracle deck which work well together for me. And I'm happily awaiting the Rattie Runes deck to see how that works with (or without) my runes!

In my VR, like you, I went with practical decks which are my main readers and I would struggle to be without, if, for example, I had to live a year or 2 away. I dont put up content on youtube but I tried doing this tag on instagram instead. My only regret is that text is limited, so the explanations to why I chose my decks are very short. I find it interesting that you specifically tried getting as many systems into your 10 as possible - I didn’t consider that🤔🌿✨

Fun tag response, Nina! You are always such a joy to watch. If I could only have 10 decks I would choose 5 tarot and 5 oracle. It would be hard to leave the others behind but like you I would be practical and choose the ones I use the most and get the clearest readings from. Tarot decks would be easier to choose for me than oracle decks since oracles are all so unique and have their own magical uses. 💗🎨🫖🦉
