Like they only gonna feel good about themselves until they see us (Mexicans) in their picturesque poor third world country view. Sadly not only USA people, also Europeans (or I must say Westeners). The condescending and the way they see Mexico is really biased. I worked as a Spanish teacher and many of my students were disapointed of not seeing the "real Mexico". Jordan, I have a Theara Gun Elite and I have to say it's more than worth the extra hundred bucks. I have MS and lost range of motion in my left shoulder and my cousin is a sports therapist in Boston and specializes in athletes (many pros) and used hers on my shoulder when I was out there and couldn't go to PT. After 8 days I didn't need any more PT I had a bit of sticker shock at first but after I did some research on both the product, the company, and professional recommendations from both the chiropractic and physical therapy services and gave in. My best friend went cheap and got one that was $60 and says it's junk and comes to me for her PT! Not saying you have a bad one but if your serious about finding releaf I thought I would share. I don't recommend product's unless I can stand behind them, kinda like New Ballance shoes for Bartenders and waitresses, I destroyed my feet with thinking cute healed boots were gonna cut it! Then I was educated by my chiropractor and my orthopedic surgeon! I think you are old enough to understand "you get what you pay for" and know what your buying otherwise I would never suggest such an expensive product either! I probably need an exclaime saying I don't work for any of these companies nor have stock or any other interest either! Lol we live in such a sue happy world I better cover my ass and your channel just incase! Lol Is Mexico like that? Sue happy that is...

This promotes USA South. Sorry Jordan. No wonder your condo looks like a planned community in Phoenix or So.Cal gated community. This is Mexico in a very upscale area but not the native Mexico. (Very serious statement. " Here's a Buffalo Wings. I was missing them when I was living in Mexico.") That says it all. For the moment you forgot you've been living in Mexico. Like to see the Mexico that's not upscale. But perhaps this is what people want to see. That fact that Mexico, upscale Mexico, is changing like this.

@@stuart_oneill Native Mexico? ò.O upscale Mexico? I've been living in Mexico my whole 30 years, 'cause I'm Mexican, and this is just a normal city in Mexico, nothing new or upscale about it...upscale? that would be San Pedro Garza García in Monterrey, and that just because of the prices, everything city in Mexico looks similar to like this, and every rural town doesn't, but that's why they are called rural towns...really some foreigners still have an uninformed view of not only Mexico, but Latam, asi if it were still the 50s :S
@stuart_oneill
@stuart_oneill 2 года назад
@@monalicia7197 uninformed. Not not every city in Mexico is blessed with these thoroughly American Style of economics. I've been in many places. And even the most tourist cities until the last 15 years or so, in other words the American invasion with American dollars, weren't the same. Always there were good middle class and upscale communities. But even in the northern Sonora their most middle class and upper class people come to Tucson to shop at Costco. The prices are better. (Were better) The exchange rate is better. If Mexico continues to Americanize and ignore the 132 languages spoken as living cultures you will turn you back on your culture. What university did you attend? I nearly attended a Mexico university but switched to go the California classic Berkely and join the anti-war fight. But I have deliberately stayed away from large cities. Tucson with an economic area of slightly in a million is too big for me. I live 20 miles in the desert, still within Tucson, because I can't stand the crowding and traffic. I love Mexico. Need to be within distance of a good medical and yes I will likely in a larger city than I would like instead of the small town and villages out 20-30 km outside the fringes of the city. Perhaps I will find both. I've never been to Taxco and see great business opportunities with a Mexican partner. Area around it? I don't know. Perhaps San Bernardo en Las Casas in Chiapas. I don't know it's will likely take a year of travel to find the right spot. Even Norte Baja California has some colonial that are every viable.

I’m sorry, but I’m Mexican, my family and friends and all my environment is Mexican, and everyone I know can confirm that most cities (and at least all state capital cities) are urbanized like in the video (rural towns are another thing) Mexico being different or more globalized is not “turning our backs to our culture” we are not your little place on earth that must stay the same through the years only for your romantization of traveling or of foreign cultures I have family in USA: in Maderas California, and in no way that small place is like Queretaro, just like USA and ANY other countries in the world (I’ve visited 22 countries so far, though just as a tourist), cities ARE cities: globalized, modern, urbanized…and rural towns ARE rural towns. Doesn’t have anything to do with turning or changing the culture, is just the way the capitalistic world is, not only for US. Thinking that Mexico or any other country is meant to stay the way the American Tourist likes is quite uninformed

Getting license plates from Morelos was a trick from that state to get extra funding from "tenencia" tax = ownership tax on which every year you pay a % of your vehicles value on the market to help on developing and maintaining roads "supposedly" but that has gotten out of control and it's supposed that you should get your license plates from the state you live on because that's the way you support your state and not others that you aren't even related. So, the other states and mainly Mexico city which is the most affected by these capital / taxes fleeing from their arcs are now imposing new rules as many other states; so if you are pulled over and you don't prove you live on the state your license plates says you'll be fined. And BTW to get plates from a state in Mexico it's mandatory to shown proof of living (Queretaro in your case) and some overpass that requirement by lending papers from a friend, family member or paying to get papers for a proof of residence on Morelos (illegal), so please avoid it.

People that are not Morelos residents but have license plates from that state are just taking advantage of the gray areas in the regulation. So, I'd say that if you have been welcomed to Mexico and more specifically to Querétaro, do your part and pay your corresponding taxes there.

Jordan, I live in Jalisco. I bought a car in Guadalajara in 2021 and because Jalisco’s car registration and taxes on a car value is 4.5% I decided to have the dealership arrange my registration and plates in Moreles which was 3%. I still had to pay them to do this transaction because I did not want to drive to Moreles. So, when 2022 rolled around, I tried to pay for the 2022 registration online but it just did not work (I did see it was only about $700 pesos for 2022). So I went back to the Guadaljara dealership and asked them to do it for me. It took a month and they grumbled about doing it and then charged me $1000 pesos to do it. I then had to drive to the dealership to pick up the new registration card and paperwork. It was a real pain. Now I sold this car and the buyer is plating it in Jalisco. Very expensive to do. So, I decided, while I’m living in Jalisco I will never buy another car that is not plated in Jalisco to avoid the big expense in transferring the reg and plates.
