"If I Fell" may have some of the most beautiful harmonies in pop history and it was a joy having a go at this brilliant song. It’s been a while since we uploaded a video on RU-vid, mainly because we are busy working away on our new album. But this was a great little project to squeeze in and we hope you enjoy it!
It’s been a blue sky lately so we just had to go out to town and include some shots of Liverpool.

I agree, one of their best songs a very good rendition. The unison parts are exceedingly important in this song, and in all the Beatles songs where they sang in unison.

I’m an old timer now and grew up with the Beatles music, and it was always an event each time they came out with a new song, in fact it was the background music to my life, but I have to say that your cover versions are absolute perfection, your harmonies are sublime, congratulations ML twins you have made an old Beatles fan very happy.

@@beagle7622 Yep, B76, not only did George Martin recognize how good they were, his prowess in the studio captured the best recordings of their compositions. Some of those early versions they did of their songs are a little rough, whew! But Martin polished them in the studio to fine, sparkling gems.

Growing up with the Beatles..yes, the Long and Winding Road..in 64'. Never liked imitations of their songs..but have to say, well done. Is nice to see this younger generation..fifty years or so later, finally get the message..

Yes, a lovely rendition. I have a serious distaste for those that butcher Beatles songs(think Joe Cocker). These gals were true to the music as it was written. In these times it is good to know that folks this young can appreciate pop music that was before their birth. They must have had good parents/grandparents.

I never get tired of hearing the songs and music of The Beatles, even after 60 years of listening. These very talented young ladies are one of my 2 favourites as far as cover acts go; the other being The Analogues. For some reason though, when I'm watching the Analogues I don't find myself wishing that I was better looking and 35 years younger.

@@julianlewis1792 Indeed it was and yes, they both could have been A sides. "And I Love Her" is the ring tone on my phone for my wife, because I do. That said, "If I Fell", & "This Boy", are two of my favorite songs in their entire catalog. I am always drawn by the harmony those lads put together.

At age 15 I watched the Beatles for the first time on Ed Sullivan in February 1964. One week soon after, the Beatles had 5 songs in the Top 10. No artist or band had done that before, and probably not since. A magical time to experience each new Beatles song and album as it was released. That's how I feel each time I listen to a Mona-Lisa cover or original songs for the first time - that same magic. Fab Twins, I thought your cover of "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" was my favorite, but this song was so heartfelt and sweet, now it too is a co-favorite of mine. Such beautiful harmonies. This is a special song for me, and you've done it perfectly. I had a cassette with a bootleg of The Beatles singing this live in Toronto(?) and they were just cracking up laughing under the cacophony of fans. Sadly the cassette was lost to time.

The (in)famous concerts at Maple Leaf Gardens in Toronto! MLG Vice President (Later Sole Owner) Harold Ballard sold tickets for two shows, even though Brian Epstein agreed to only one show. Ballard told Epstein if the Beatles didn't play both shows, the fans would tear the building down with them in it. Well, the Beatles played both shows, Epstein received his money times two, and Ballard became a legend, lol.

Not only was the adding of the cello a masterful touch, your mixer/mixing was stunning in how it seemed to sort of come and go in the mix - just slightly surfacing from time to time - but never prominent/too obvious! Masterful indeed (from a 20-year soundman btw, if that matters - and a lifelong Beatles fanatic). I think The Lads would be very proud.

Next to "THE LADS" themselves, this is my favorite performance of this timeless classic (and the addition of the 'cello was a masterful touch). Much respect to these *artists*, from a fellow music professional! 😁👍

A true gem... both the original song and this rendition. Your harmony gave me goosebumps... as good or better than John and Paul. But you bested them on breath control, and succeeded in completing the recording without running out of air. In all ways, well done!
