This game gives him life, it felt like he’s an actual person, even if he’s a character, characters with emotions make you more emotional than real people. It influences people. The reason that boyfriends voice sounds different between mods is that the creators are using different samples. Basically, the creator takes a sample of boyfriends voice and then puts the sample into the music. So a sample from bopeebo would be different than a sample from philly. Also, girlfriends dad is canonically cruel and is terrible to other people, so mod characters have been used by her dad or are indebted to him somehow and he takes their soul.
