Great explanation of event horizons and investments! I also love how you mentioned like hey, if you just wanna collect to collect do your thing and don’t let anyone stop you. It’s so important to let people choose how they enjoy the hobby. Keep up the great work man! Also love the music during the pack opening, I felt pumped through it like it’s go time 😂

I have this hard battle between buying singles I want but also wanting to invest in sealed for the future with a limited budget. Hard to balance both, but I’ve been leaning towards singles that I’ve been wanting.

You hit most of what I was churning around in my own head in the first couple of minutes. I was 9 when Pokemon cards released and looking into the cards again now it's tough to decide to go new and see what it does or go sword and shield which may have already passed me by or just go for singles .

Doing buying a couple of sealed, sell one in 6-12m to keep cash flow, hold the other for at least 3-5yrs. And now getting into singles and grading to sell and keep cashflow as well, some singles ill keep for collection

CZ is a strong set for sure. I have some ETBs, but recently bought a couple mini-tin displays. A little less bulky to store considering total packs. Modern all the way with a little patience!

I like getting nice cards psa 10 50-120 and trying to diverse as much as possible with top name Pokémon. For example. Just got a psa 10 darkrai and umbreon for 70 from unified minds

Brilliant Stars has the best TG imo. The eveelution versions & mimikyu must be held by trainers right now. it’s the 1st TGs for crying out loud.

Most profit short term would be going 3-4 silver tempest and waiting until they hit 200 which they will be by the end of year 3 paldea ev, 2 paradox rift. 2 paldea ev, 2 paradox rift, 1 temporal forces

151 UPC, Paldea Evolved BB, Battle Styles BB, 1 Crown Zenith ETBs, Gold CZ and other Alts/SIRs to fill in rest of budget (maybe some graded cards, sealed is bread and butter)

I agree that yeah ahoukd definitely collect a variety of boosters that way you have the exposure. For me its more about how quick they pump these bad boys out. Its crazy. 3 main sets and 2 specialties in 1 year is a lot.

If I had $500 I agree with the silver tempest play. Or you can go with saving the $500 and saving even more funds for Black Friday deals so instead of booster boxes you can get cases of scarlet and violet sets if they follow their trend of reprinting sets around that time .

I’d probably go with a paldea evolved, sv base, crown zenith mini tin display and etb, paradox box, and last 100 or so on beaten down special illustrations Iron valiant, Pidgeot, Miriam, alakazam, zapdos just to get some diversity

I like your booster box selection from SV. I think I would do 2 Paldea evolved but it’s hard to beat the low price of paradox.

Only reason I’d say sv base is cause of the price if you can get it around 80 by 160 you already doubled your money and it’s probably one of the best base sets in recent time. Do I think go all out no but having some allocation I don’t think you will ever loose money on it at this point.

From SV my top set picks are 151 and paldean fates. Atleast in terms of sets i liked opening the most.

Good choices, I cannot agree more! Maybe I would switch 2 PAL, 2x TEF and 1PAR. TEF is by far the best set in s&v yet (IMO). 👍😎

in july i will be picking up dragon vault 3 pack item and if i had the 500$ cash i would also invest into a 151 upc to go with that sadly those 2 items would take up the 500$ cash lol

Investing answer: $500 can get about 18 ($27/per), 151 booster bundles (plenty available here in SoCal). Toss it all in TCG player for $38.

Are fusion strike and lost origin already too expensive, or would you buy both with a lets say a 1000$ total budget ? Otherwise i would go for sets like silver tempest, paldea evolved, temporal forces, obsidian flames and some paradox rift. Would love to get your standpoint and keep up the good vids ! Depends on how long you want to hold if you are in it for the long run I think LO and FS are still reasonably priced but short term I don’t think they are plays either way you are taking a risk

Buy sealed based on number of chase cards period. If a set has only a couple of chase cards it’s not worth it. For the simple fact content creators most likely have CASES of booster boxes to rip for years to come to create content. So you’ll be relying on non-content creators to purchase your booster boxes who won’t have the funds of the large content creators to buy a 700$ booster.

Japanese 151 is under $100 right now and Astral Radiance is still at a low entry price, some Paldea Evolved won't hurt either go ham on these. This is for sealed investment gains. Ok bye

I watched a live last night, that i know for a fact wasnt staged....where one guy won a dice roll and won 20 packs. This lucky mfer pulled 2 magickarps in 20 packs.. it was absolutley insane
