Thelma is a wife and mother of two children, one with autism. As a Certified Autism Specialist, she talks about this growing neurological condition, in an extremely personal talk that transports us to the lives of these affected children.
With two master's degrees in education, she has devoted much of her time to train and raise awareness about autism in El Salvador in various fields such as: schools, television, magazines and radio; as well as providing direct support to families of children with special needs. Now, in Nicaragua, she is also dedicated to supporting families with autistic children, as well as giving talks on these subjects in schools and other places.
