You mentioned a mailing list from the start. Could you make a video going into detail of how you would go about that as a new seller? I've never been able to wrap my head around the methods to get people to click on a link.

The key is just to offer them something free/valuable to get them to subscribe. Most will not just sign up for a newsletter if they are not given something in return so I offer them free tumbler designs.

@digitallypurposedbailey hi. Thank you for all that you share with us to be successful on Etdy like you😊. I have a question. You talked about processing fees and not having enough funds is common thing and you suggest having digital products in your store as well because that will help with the processing fees when people start buying your digital products. Shouldn't you use a credit card for all of that? Using a credit card for Etsy fees, print production is ideal as I was told and setting up your payment method of receiving payment from Etsy to a week or everyday. Please correct me if I am wrong.

I LOVE this video Bailey! My initial plan was to do exactly as you lay it out here. But I kept seeing the digitals going lower and lower in price (.50-1.50) and decided to go POD. It just seemed to me for the same amount of work that it was a good choice. BUT in my heart I love the didgital!! I am doing pod right now but in the back of my mind I am always wondering about how to set up my shop for both. I would love to see how you organize your shop (making it pretty and appealing). And I will watch every video you have made. I am still new but very reserched to Etsy---decades long serial entrepreneur. Please do more about the hybrid! Blessings to you amazing woman!!

And all the little details from opening the shop and watching you make the branding from the shop and researching all the things a newbie wouldn’t even know how or what to do. Even the 10 mockups for the listing. How to make those. If digital do you take screenshots of your designs and upload to Canva? I’m thinking of a digital spreadsheet or planner? Another great video! How did you build an email list with your Etsy shop. What do you offer to get them to sign up for your list after they already purchased from you via Etsy? And once they sign up, what type of emails are you sending them and how often? Thanks. Also, do you plan on opening stand alone shops for this hybrid store and your tumbler wrap store or do you think it's more trouble than it's worth? Thanks!

thanks for the videos! ❤ I would love to know more about Etsy ads. In particular, most digital shops have thousands of one dollar products and a few higher priced bundles or full shop deals. Would you recommend advertising all the products including the dollar products or just the higher priced bundles and such? Also, if you advertise the dollar products do you advertise them all or just the dollar products that are known to have good click through and sales?

I have a hybrid shop and i started it last month, ive only made 7 sales of physical products and none of my digital. its tricky for sure. might have to close my shop down for a bit because its getting pricey even just by having to ship products out. I try to cater to my audience which is gamers so i make twitch emotes and panels but so far ive gotten nothing there ://

You do realize that what you did with your first store, by not using social media and running ads, whether, inside of Etsy or outside of Etsy, within the first 6 months, is most likely why your store became so wildly successful, right? Using social media and Pinterest, in the first 3-6 months, can actually hurt a new store, and running ads, whether, inside of Etsy or outside of Etsy, is, also, not a great idea for new stores. 🤦‍♀️

Sorry, and really not sure where you're getting this information, but really have to disagree with this one as I just opened up a new shop, run only Pinterest ads at this point at usually 4-5x ROAS vs. the typical 2x from Etsy ads. We receive 70% traffic from Pinterest and have a 6% conversion rate which is amazing for POD. Since my original shop, I have started 3 other Etsy shops all of which have always be running Etsy ads & outside marketing from the launch date. They have all done extremely well... Additionally, we have spoken with Etsy after the release of the Share & Save program, encouraging sellers to promote their shops on SM...they have confirmed they do not penalize shops.
