For using tails in classic "Hold" up and double jump You'll need enough space above you for tails to get enough height for it to activate

That's cool! Mighty and Ray haven't appeared since Sonic Mania Plus (2018), But Fang is in Sonic Superstars (2023). Also, If all Classic Content is canon does that mean Honey the Cat is canon? SEGA has forgotten her since her only appearance was Sonic The FIGHTERS (1995). But honestly, Great Short Jake! Keep up the good work.

iin the genesis games you cant use tails by holding up and pressing jump twice but it does work in origins and you can fly with tails in sonic 3 but you need another player.

You can use tails to lift you in the classic sonic games. You need enough distance for his grabbing mechanic to activate.
