I loved this song when it was released, in an almost mystic way . I can’t explain it. It touched me deeply. The music was forceful, beautiful and brought with it many , many thoughts. Oh, but those lyrics. What level of genius does it take.? I found myself wanting to genuflect every time I heard it . “And the Holy Ghost was the host with the most.” I studied this song relentlessly when it came out. I’m not crazy, the man knows of what he speaks. Just think about it.
