RIght now I am in university. But your videos helped me a lot during my Alevel days and Its good to see you still posting helpful videos. You are so underrated as a youtuber. Best wishes!
Idk how I got recommended this again but I finished my A-Levels in '19. I remember watching ur videos and stressing out so much at the time. Now i'm here with a degree in Chem Eng and think I've forgotten most of A-Level physics lmao.
Watching this the morning of my Specialist Maths exam (not sure if there's a UK equivalent) and am happy to hear that I've basically done all of these already in my revision! Will make sure to continue these for the rest of my exams
Your ability to simplify everything and make it fun and enjoyable, like a simple step-by-step process, is phenomenal. I can't truly express how awesome that is. Thank you soooo much 😊👍👌
also quick tip, I know this may be cliché but I found using AI is very very helpful, if you are stuck on a question (especially calculation) ask ChatGPT the question and also give it the answer, and ask it to break down each step explaining the process, sometiems however, it might be wrong but thats why you give it the mark scheme so that it understands the answer and can fill in the gaps, this is great when the teacher isn't available and you need a close and efficient feedback loop on topics you aren't too sure about
I have my CIE exams for As Maths, physics, chemistry , Starting May 2nd. The main hard part is scoring high on the Mcq exam. That is hard, thankfully we got plenty of time to prepare for it
You have enough time for the MCQs after mid-May. In my experience, those two weeks are good time to prep for the MCQS MCQS are tough so dont stress about the marks or thresholds, do as many papers as you can, thoroughly revise all the topics and leave the rest to fate. Good luck!
This was great! will be writing my AS levels in a few weeks, I wanted to know if it was more effective to fully finish a paper before checking the mark scheme or check the mark scheme after completing each question individually?
personally for normal revision i like to check after each question so that the question is super fresh in my mind,, but for exam practice defo do the whole thing at once
If ur revising and its more of a theory subject like economics or history, probably go over the paper and mark scheme question by question. But when your exam date is getting closer or a practical subject like maths I'd probably only use the mark scheme once I'm finished the whole thing
Can you give me tips about what to do, i just got my grades for Physics, I am giving A2 9702 mocks and i got an E and i can’t believe it, i prepared very well and i have my exams in 15 days and before that I have exams for 2 other subject, I am very stressed and I am aiming for an A*, as i got A in AS. PLEASEEE GIVE ME SOME TIPS, I AM ON THE VERGE OF JUST CRYING
I am only 15 years old but i find this really useful, i’ll definitely use these study methods. Also, on a side note, since young, i loved quantum physics and astrophysics and many of your physics videos have enabled me to have a deeper understanding of the maths behind it. I just wanna say thank you to all your videos, and i’ll surely use them when I progress to a-levels.😁
sir, much respect and kudos to you. You are a genius. I have saved your video links and will be showing to my daughter when she approaches her exams. A question for you: She's in year 7. What do you think about covering GCSE content starting now? The idea being to avoid stress/ overwhelm and to spread the content.
not at all gcses can be aced with three months work that can be three months before her first exam but you said she wants to avoid stress so id say the earliest she should start is year 9
alot of gcse conent relies on ks3 knowledge but if you can get her to do that 1st then you could move onto gcse content. I do wish that I started revision alot earlier myself so this isnt a bad idea.
@Ali Sheikh Exactly, so that's why get the fundamentals down and study ahead. That's why start now. If you want to relax in your gcses and actually be prepared, why not start early? So what if mocks don't matter? You still want to do well on them, right? Why rush at the end? While it's possible to cram in the last two months before finals - which is what i did - and achieve all A*s and As - which is again, what i did - it was an immense amount of pressure and if i had the chance, i would not go through it again that way. I recommend starting at the beginning - or before the beginning simply because of one mistake we've all made. We procrastinate. It's human nature. There is plenty of time - and we take it for granted. That's why you've got tons of people failing just because they didn't manage their time well. Studying ahead will always get you ahead. People who got 100% in math did Kumon at year 7. Grounding yourself and getting the fundamentals right, advancing to a higher level which everyone else is doing basics is what will get you ahead. I rest my case here.
Thank you very much for the advise I was struggling to find a methode which will improve my grade but the things i need to do now for physics is clear.
Hiya I am approaching my a level physics exam and have been struggling with multiple choice questions even though I’m mostly understanding the content. Do you have any tips or methods for them?
can you do some online tutoring ? I need more help cus my base is so weak and not understand a lot of things. I am now A1 level and will have exam at 3 weeks later, I am afraid I might need to repeat.. Is it possible you open a zoom or a meeting helping my physics, how much will it cost if it can? thanks
does this work if you have only 13 days left until the exams? I finished my syllabus late and I need all the help I can get and it's taken a toll on my health :(
My Physics Alevel Paper 2 is on 17th May, What should I do? I have done topical questions and some yearly papers. Are there any topics which come up more frequently than others that I should be aware of?
Hi. I wonder if I can get some advice. I came into y12 earning As and Bs but ended up getting very disrupted. I’m not at an E/D and my physics exam is very soon and I have no idea if I’m able to pick myself up despite recently trying to. Do you have any tips
If you got As and Bs before then it shows you are more than capable of getting them again. Just the tips I mentioned in this video - past paper after past paper (and focus on the areas you missed out on easy marks in the markscheme).
Some would say the best investment is in your own education! I appreciate I do charge for some content - but I have also made almost 1000 free Physics videos you can view whenever you want.
