Just depends on the neighbors I think. We have good neighbors, but I hear all kinds of chatter on Facebook about folks living down the road in the small towns. I can’t imagine I’d be very nice to someone who couldn’t keep their animals off my property. That’s just ridiculous.

Oh my goodness. When you went directly from ''we are having issues with these cows and their owners'' to ''this is one of our family's favorite dishes using beef'' I really thought for one minute that you'd found a solution to those pesky cows! 🤣 Thank you for this lovely snippet of your life, and Bean is looking so sweet xx

We have had that problem too with cattle. We live in the country. No one done anything about until I reported the cattle out in the highway . They ate the neighbor corn and it was ready to be picked. We haven't had any problems in a few years. I hope you can get the cattle problem solved too. The damage they were doing around our place was messing up our yard. It was so bad we couldn't hardly mow.

Thanks for sharing. I always have trouble with pizza dough rolling out and baking it. It never raises or is too thin, I can't win. Now this looks so good.

I will definitely make the cheese burger roll. I live in Pennsylvania where the cheese steak is king in our area. That would be good also. A little marinara sauce for dipping. Yum. Sorry about the cows. Hopefully the problem will get resolved soon.

You may have to put those cattle guard things across your drive ways, you know-they’re buried in the ground cattle can’t step across them.

I would take them out where you need the lawn mowed and wait for the owner to come find them. Then have a chat with the owners. They probably smell your good cooking and are salivating.😅

I guess those cows know how to get out when they want to!😂 They know there’s “good eats” at your place!!! My neighbors horses used to come over for a walk through our property but that hasn’t happened in a long while. That cheeseburger roll up looked delicious!😘❤🙏🏻✨

I had this problem for Years. They were my cousin's cattle. I called them, and the sheriff, every single time the cows were on my place. Then one morning I got up and had a cow on my front porch and that was It. I told them their cows were out And told them where they were getting out. They asked why, if I knew where they were getting out, I didn't just run them back in instead of calling them. Hahahaha. I gave them 2 minutes to get their cows out of my yard before I started offing them. (the cows) Then I got my 'hand held freedom device' and went outside. I waited 2 minutes, took aim (at my pond bank, but they didn't know that) and started... Pow pow pow I had never seen them move so quickly in my entire life. The next time they got out, I called the sheriff and told him I was sick of dealing with these animals, and either he paid them a visit or I was gonna find a permanent way to deal with the cows. He actually went to their house and told them to fix their fences that he was tired of getting phone calls about their cows. For the rest of the time I lived there I never again had their cows on my place. Best advice I can give you is to call your sheriff, And their owner, Every single time. Keep track/record of any damage they do, if they eat your garden, what's the cost of that. If they break your fence etc. Let the owner know you are keeping track of the monetary damages and that if this keeps up you expect to be reimbursed. That might incentivize him to repair fences. We, too, have problems with cows getting out of their fence from a neighbor's property. He leases it to someone else. So, this person is not on site. Since this new person has had his cows in this pasture, they have gotten out 3 times... most recently about 1 month ago. My husband told our neighbor that he may just take care of it himself... nod, nod, wink, wink. My freezer is waiting. Neve just one... usually 2 or 3. Aggravating to say the least!

You need a cattle grid at the beginning of your driveway. Cows won’t cross of they can see through a grid.

It depends on where you live. The best thing you can do is determine when your first frost date is, and then see how many days you have until then. That's the time you have to grow a fall garden. So you would look at seed packets and see what the time frame is for what you are thinking of growing and whether there is time or not. Of course you can also plant frost tolerant things like cabbage, broccoli, lettuce, kale, carrots and radishes are just a few that generally do great in the late summer-fall.

I would keep a detailed record 🎥 of the number of trespasses and offer ample warning that if cow enters again, you will be making hamburger meat out of it. The gall of these careless neighbors!🤨

Legally in the state of AR, if I had a place to contain these "stray" cows, I could do that and report them as found to the Department of agriculture. It's an ordeal, but if the owners didn't claim them AND pay the court fees and cost for my care of them...they would become ours. But we know who they belong to. I'll share more about this drama in the future :)

I had to laugh your little Bean running off the cow's and then you go straight to the cheese burger recipe. I almost lost it. Constance I'm so sorry.
