Folks, I hope you all understand it’s the coaches and sponsors doping these athletes. I’m frustrated with the world constantly attacking these athletes when these are just young talented kids happy to hit the big stage, see themselves on television, win some races, and make some money. These big folks actually doing this to these vulnerable young folks never get busted, when they are the ones doing it! I’m annoyed.

The US track body USATF covered Carl Lewis 3 failed drug tests in 1988 during the US trials before and he went on to win several gold and silver medals at the Seoul games. The official results were released to the public several years later AFTER the expiration of the statue of limitations that prevented him from losing his medals and having failed drug tests on his track and field resume

So, they want us to believe it so happens that USADA showed up to test him just after he ate the oxtail, and they got the results right away, and the bakery so happens to have the same meat he just ate still there not sold and waited for USADA to show up test it?🤔. How many days did he eat that oxtail before he got tested? How long did it take to issue the report? Then how long did it take them to schedule him to question him about the results? And how long thereafter did USADA appear at the bakery thereafter to get the the sample for testing? Did the bakery just willingly allow USADA to test their meat without a court order? How long did all this happen in order to get this result? Can’t believe that bakery would still have that oxtail there. If not, they ought to be closed down effective immediately for selling stale food. If USADA is confirming this bogus story, they themselves should be investigated and shut down. I don't agree with you, Maverick. The fact that Jamaica upholds the rules and the spirit of the rules is not a fault but an ideal. The fact that other countries cheat is not an example to be followed but to be called out and exposed, including by Jamaica. Jamaica is arguably the best athletics nation in the world, pound for pound. This is an accolade that is very special and should be preserved beyond reproach.

The young man from Suriname has the same no fault violation because he drank a sports drink which was tested and found to be true but they banned him for 4 years.

I disagree with your take. Jamaica has some of the most prominent athletes in track and field. For the size of our country that is unheard of. Those athletes are automatically going to be suspected of cheating because of where they come from. Let’s not pretend like we didn’t hear them talking about Bolt in that way. If the governing body is not strict, then every Jamaican athlete will compete under a cloud. Then you same one along with the rest of Jamaica will criticize them.
Absolutely correct Maverick, JADA never give the Jamaican athletes benefit of the doubt, it is as if the prospect of serving our athletes with bans, and by extension destroying some of our athletes careers and livelihood is what excite those individuals.

Maverick failed to mention that USADA conducted their own test on meat from the restaurant and found that it was contaminated aswell as interviews to back up the kids story. It's common practive for livestock in USA to be pumped up with steroids.

Also, a lot of Kenyan athletes been given 4 year bans recently, Laser was banned by her federation for her whereabout, Christian Coleman was also given a 2 year ban for whereabout and he is American.
It is a coincidence that the Ox tail is contaminated. It does not mean EK +VE results could not have come from any other mode. Being an olympic year the temptation and incentive to dope is very much present. Cui bono ! EK stands to gain from a crime, and so might have been committed it.

But because they say if you can provide evidence of where you got the banned substance from and if the evidence supports that it was ingested unintentionally then you won’t be suspended. That’s what happened with erriyon and that’s what happened with Briana.
I think we are trying to set an example to the rest of the world that at least one country in the world has integrity when it comes to a drug free sport.

Ben Johnson said it. The USA doesn't care whenever their athletes test positive, they only get mad, whenever other Nations start beating them at their own game (which is cheating). Carl Lewis tested positive in 1988 (prior the Olympics) but the USADA kept it hush, hush and allowed him to compete, because they knew that he was their biggest hope for that Gold Medal. Ben Johnson knew this, which was why he made that statement. This was a recent interview which he did with TVJ. He didn't want to come out fully and say that Carl Lewis was dirty as well, because he could get sued. But Both Lewis and Johnson were on drugs, and Johnson won, so he was the faster man. That race was one the dirtiest races in Olympic history. Most of the guys in that final were on drugs. Raymond Stewart from Jamaica was 1 of the few who was clean. I think that the top 5 or 6 later tested positive, at some point in their careers.
