I never realized how repetitive the drum beat was and how difficult it must be to keep that rhythm up for the entire song at such a speed. Well done!

nah it's a pretty easy song. She's also not using the hi hat or the small tom which is in the og. song. But sounds good!

@@kendallritenow1309 though that may be true, it is still difficult to keep that same rhythm for an entire song. That is why they use drum machines. I did notice she was losing rhythm on some parts but it takes a musician or a sound engineer like myself to notice. The average ear doesn't focus on rhythm and key.

@@dizzyheads Yeah it's not difficult but it's one of those beats that the more you do, the harder it is. Like saying a word over and over again, eventually it stops making sense and you can't even say it anymore. There;s probably a proper term for it..

@Ballistic Matt love the riddle, but the answer is actually the transitions the editors make between scenes and the parallels. also the characters and the development they make throughout the series. oh yeah, and the bits and pieces taken out of old 80’s medias such as movies,music,and scenery, creating a nostalgic aesthetic for both people alive in the time period and those who have never experienced the 80’s

It's funny, I've been listening to Kate Bush since I heard "Breathing" on college radio. I think that was 1982-83? She's was unique, even back then, and been listening ever since. Funny how she is suddenly so popular due to the show and I'm glad that she is. It's been a long time coming.

I grew up in the 1980's and never once heard Kate Bush... Maybe I was listening to the wrong radio stations? And I don't think MTV ever played any of her videos -- just a lot of Tears For Fears, Depeche Mode, Cindy Lauper, and Wham!. If MTV did play her videos, I guess I missed them. But I am glad Stranger Things revived her music for idiots like me who totally missed out.

@@telengardforever7783 Hm, not sure. My wife never heard of her either except from me. I grew up on the east coast in Philly and there was a lot of bands I got to hear from just by going to certain record stores or even stores that played a lot of alternative stuff, like zipperheads. You had to see some of her stuff on MTV back in the day. She did a duet with Peter Gabriel in "Don't give up" which I think they played like every 3 minutes, ok, maybe not that much but it seemed that way.

This was so awesome! :-) By the way, people underestimate how HARD it is to play the drums! Many thinks it looks easy, but the truth is, that drums are just about the toughest instrument there is to master! You need serious control of your body-rhythms on several levels - ALL AT ONCE! It’s incredibly difficult. Nice work here, you truly rock it! ;-)
