As a baby who is just born rn am watching peppa pig series from my doctor's phone and i truly say this is the best anime i have ever seen. But my 2nd fav anime is Naruto :)
*MANGA/ANIME SPOILERS!!!* I really enjoyed the ‘Tear of Sweat’ arc. I loved the sibling rivalry between Peppa-san and George-kun. It was also very interesting seeing Daddy Pig’s backstory. At first when you see him, you think of just an ordinary father figure of Peppa-san and George-kun, but when you look deeper into the lore and read more into the manga, you’ll slowly see the huge amount of hints and foreshadowing that he gave off. The character development of Peppa-san and George-kun was phenomenal. Throughout S1-S3, it really broke my heart to see how these two characters grew, faced the disappointing realm known as reality, shared memories and bonds with each other, and dealt with constant betrayal. But the betrayal really formed up Peppa-san’s character and her purpose in this post-apocalyptic and cruel world known as England. The Suzy-chan betrayal really sparked the emotion of this series and showed off how unique Peppa-san is as a main protagonist. Peppa-san never wanted anything in this world except for her friends to stay by her side, especially Suzy-chan. For as tough as a fighter Peppa-san is, seeing Suzy-chan choke Pedro Pony with her bloody fist even made Peppa-san break down in tears. She never expected her best friend, Suzy-chan, to betray her and mercilessly kill her other comrade. People always said “Oh, Peppa-san is so strong and bold”, but they never wondered what went on inside. The true emotion that went into that scene really sent shivers down my spine. I was peeing my pants out of shock. The world-building of PEPPA PIGŪ is fantastic. In this dead and forgotten world where humanity has gone extinct 14,000 years after the war, a noble and brave warrior has to scavenge through this wasteland along with her friends to retrieve life to the universe. In Chapter 146, when Peppa-san used her final transformation, you could just feel the pain burning right through her eyes. She never wanted to end the world, she just wanted to save it, but because of the boulders that knocked her down this rocky mountain, every time she still got back up on her feet, she would encounter stone after stone after stone that would trip her further down the lane, but even after that when her dearest friends were burning to ashes, she still got back up and fought through this deadly feeling inside her that she couldn’t explain. The true anger, passion, pity, and brainstorming that was put into this one series is truly incredible…
Here from 2023 when s7 (Final sason) released spoilers Season 7 is the perfect end to a not but very perfect anime. The opening of Peppa sitting on the same tree where she first met suzy and pedro got me crying counting the death of pedro in suzys bloody hands. The way george returns in episode 5: sibling bee- pork is great for me and my anime club as he was my favourite . He had so much character development being the second favourite and his last words with his sis being a heated argument. The way both kids were angry at each other but unsure what to do was heartwarming and relateable and in episode 7 when george brings out his old cart and peppas old bike saying 'still fits. One more ride before you die to the hands of that stupid sheep?' and (biiiig spoiler for anime/manga) in the final episode, the final fight between peppa and suzy has action and emotion, diving into suzys backstory of divorced parents, depression and lonliness. Forever an outcast until she met her. Peppa T. Pig. Her only friend. Slowly, she met Danny, Pedro and Rebecca. Her friends. She slowly drifted away from suzy. suzy was possesive as this was her only friend prompting her to kill pedro. now peppa was next. if she cant have her, no one can. The 2nd to last scene whene suzy is weak on the floor, yet peppa aided her was in her nature. All peppa ever wanted was friends. The last scene when all stood on a hillside and held the key to bringing humans (and all lost in the series) back was a satisfying conclusion. I am excited for the live action reboot and i hope you are too, Certified Basement Dweller!
This video was on point. But I think my favorite moment is 1:02 bc this happens in a lot of anime intros, the music at that moment, Peppa's eyes, the editing and pause for that moment. This is art. THIS- is cinema ✨
My little brother wanted to watch so I handed over my headphones. My mother walked past to my 12 year old brother enthusiastically dancing to what appeared to be Peppa Pig LMAO
Man, the potato's rise to power was incredible. I love when Peppa fought alongside Pedro, her own enemy, and gathered up the firefighters. There was so many hidden details.
The best part is that Peppa Pig is often used as the first media to teach non JP speakers how to properly listen to JP as they're learning the language, so this is literally the show that starts many off on their journey to finally become neehowngow jowzoo
This looks like it'd be one of the shows that start off as a happy slice of life, and then turn SUPER dark in episode 3, where it's revealed that Peppa's whole world is a lie or something.
That would be great and better then: Peppa and George are at the playground, they play 3 minutes. Oh no! Peppa's stuck! Peppa's friends help her out for 5 minutes and Peppa gets out plays for 2 more minutes THE END
I just like how no one asks where this song came from. But seriously, this is so perfect. Sounds like something I would watch if it were the end of the world

*MANGA SPOILERS!* The final arc really reflects the growth of the series, and I appreciate that. Suzy finally being able to accept that she lost her family, The team working together to defend England, George learning how to use his new powers, and how the friendship between Suzy and Peppa broke into pieces… Allowing them to continue the plot.
