The election will be held in November. The choice will be Old or Insane! I'm voting for Old. I'd vote for Biden even if he was not alive! President Harris has a nice ring. So it's a Win-Win situation either way.
Remember Trump said he will place a libertarian in a cabinet position . Myself I would place libertarians in charge of much of the funding being handed out . Meaning there would be lots of cuts in spending .
Trump is winning Maine over all in the polls. He is also dominating in Nevada and Georgia, and winning in all of the other states colored yellow on the map. Florida and Texas are both +10% for Trump right now and are drifting to the right, and Iowa and Ohio are more safe than Louisiana.
Well, the post conviction polls have started. 49% of Independents, in 1 poll, said Trump should drop out of the race. That is really bad news. Not that they simply won't vote for Trump now, need different nominee to make them consider GOP vote. Exactly what was polling months ago when Independents, in 1 poll, 75% of them said will not vote for Trump is convicted in any of the trials. Not convicted in same poll, 55% said Trump vote possible/likely. Tha's a loss of 30% of that portion of electorate, meaning NO chance to win in November.

Florida (my beloved State) will be voting Conservative, Capitalist, Republican I predict for the next 30 years. A lot of Marxist Democrat Left Wingers have fled, especially since the insurance costs went way up, & they got offended by the Governor's battle against Disney. Many Independents, Libertarians, & Conservatives have moved down here to stay & none of them are into this Woke Marxism.

not anymore, swing states are switching to Virginia, New Jersey, New Mexico, Oregon, plus a couple of the old ones. Texas, Florida, Ohio, Iowa, North Carolina, Georgia, Pennsylvania have swung strongly to the Repub side, and the Dems are freaking out, they don't know what to do
NC polls 8-12 points for Trump lately. Even adding 100% undecideds to Biden gives Trump the win by 2 points. So it's not 2-1 odds. It's 10-1 Trump wins. Basically the same story with Florida, but Florida is an even surer bet, maybe 30-1 odds Trump wins, around the same as Texas and Ohio. Iowa might be less predictable with fewer polls, so I'd hesitantly just put it as another 10-1 odds Trump state.

I lived outside of Boston most of my life, but 2020 was it. Many of the last Conservative Capitalist traditional Republican leaning voters have all fled the New England area.

Oregon's a moderate shade of Blue; New Hampshire is somewhat quirky, but leans Blue; and Maine's electoral votes are split by Congressional district, and not the winner-take-all system of 48 of 50 states (NE is similar to ME). What are you talking about man?🤦🏿♂️🤭

That’s not true there’s lots of us in Oregon that are red. I live in Oregon and I’m originally from California and I’m red and many people here are red. You only hear about the big cities like Portland where everybody’s blue. You’re not talking about the rural areas.

The polls give odds of winning. They aren't meant to be taken as infallable. They said that Trump has a 56% chance of winning, which means that Biden has a 44% chance of winning. So, if Biden wins, that doesn't mean that the poll was wrong.
@@my3dviews Clearly theres a limit to that. 2016 was proof no one should even consider certain polls as reliable. How many pollsters had hillary clinton at a 90-97% chance of winning? Yes somehow she lost by a significant margin? Thats just straight up wrong information or the polls are corrupt and only considered in democrat areas or cities.

Making predictions before the party conventions in close elections is unwise. A lot can change before August. Usually, the needles don't move much after August. Their map doesn't correspond with current polling, though. As of May 30, Nevada & Georgia have consistently polled heavily in Trump's favor & should both be at least in the light red category. Maine at large & Nebraska's 2nd district both poll slightly in Trump's favor & should be listed as up for grabs. Minnesota & Virginia poll slightly for Biden & should also be up for grabs (under 3% margin in average polling). There has been sparse polling in all of those areas. This gives a better probability map with Trump ahead 257-200 & 81 too close to call. That still does not put either candidate in a safe zone for victory. It does show that Biden has an uphill road to victory. The closer we get to the election without a change in public sentiment, the steeper that hill becomes. That's why conventions are so important. Each party gets to showcase its stars on the national stage for a week.
The one you are omitting is Pennsylvania. Trump is ahead in every poll there. Add that to Georgia, Nevada and Arizona and it spells a Trump victory. Can't come soon enough for the southern border situation.
@@Comm.DavidPorter Yeah, I keep Pennsylvania in the toss-up category even though it's leaning to Trump because his margins there are small. But, you're right. If the trend continues, he only needs one or two of those close states, or perhaps only the Nebraska 2nd district. In case of a tie, there are more Republican states than Democrat ones in Congress, so that probably gives him a narrow win as well.

It's absolute BS that North Carolina is a " swing" state. It's not. I don't think Georgia is any longer, either. Maine, Minnesota, New Hampshire, and Virginia should be added to the list of "swing" states. And I think New Mexico is closer than people think.
