This would be by far the worst mistake Roblox would ever make in history. Even though if they made only the platform paid access without the games in the platform involved, it wouldn't be as bad as this.
Tbh I dont get why many people compare p2w games to EA. I have played numerous EA games, and the only thing you have to buy is the game itself, which is completely reasonable considering the quality of the games, and that the game itself is the only thing you can pay for.
Ok but I'm pretty sure a game made the community will be made which will allow players to earn robux to play other games by completing tasks, funded by players who have large quantities of robux/devs who want people to be able to play their games
I'm pretty sure when an update like this gets announced, every Roblox player that doesn't try new games will start to try several games they have never played before the update comes out.

This would be a death sentence for Roblox as it would give other companies able to make an alternative for Roblox and make Roblox officially dead and their game skyrocketing. It'll only happen if that company actually makes a good parody.
if they make the platform paid access sure so many players will be mad BUT if they made EVERY GAME paid access that will be the biggest mistake possible
On the bright side, there would be more people outside, and by that, fixing the kids eyes by giving them enough light so their eyes can develop and have a harder time of developing a deformation in their eyes + lowering the risk of developing any bad conditions because of exercise.
My experience in Roblox is that the Roblox doesn't decide if the game is free to play or paid access it depends on the game owner and stuff not the roblox
Youll earn much more players if you set it for a lower price and since the creators also hate this change thwy will try their best to make them as free as possible
Even if some players did pay, roblox would loose a lot of revenue and would be off the App Store and won’t get partnerships. This would also lead to other games coming successful since roblox copyright claims on games that aren’t as popular will be irrelevant meaning people could make free versions on steam and get revenue.
Most likely someone would make a chrome extension or something that makes it bypass the system to allow you to play any roblox game without paying robux. Then would probably get banned 😅
Not only would this cause many players to quit, it would also stop the flow of new players due to them not willing to spend money just to play the game, and with the amount of people quitting roblox would cause it to go bankrupt or severely lower its profitability.

Id really appreciate if roblox made an update where they would make an official game have daily tasks (there would be 10 tasks daily) where you could earn points, and they would make an official site where you convert those points into robux. So that roblox isn't greedy. Every 100 points will be 10 robux, every 1k points would be 100 robux. Every 10k points would be 1000 points. You would get 5 points every task you complete
well, there is one way to somehow play it for free, if you make a game, very few players will join, close to none, and even lower chance to one of them being premium member, so if the premium guy waits for a bit, you will get premium payout that gives you robux, maybye even some will donate, there is litteraly no chance of it happenin, but with pure luck, anything can happen
the worst thing that would happen (for me) is that the hidden mario games would start making robux so roblox can find them and delete them more easily.
İ think if every roblox game becomes paid acces i bet someone would found a glitch or a exploit or something like that and upload it to youtube and when it gets fixed players would continue finding ways to play it for free
