Same here, happened to me a few times with different girls. Why do they even bother saying let's meet up/hang out just to cancel? If there was an emergency or something actually important came up, I could understand. But usually there's a lame excuse.
The reason is they probably want to be "kind", so they don't reject you instantly, and by saying they want to meet you some time they display fake interest, so when they accidentally can't meet you on the date you 2 set, it still feels slightly better for you, or at least this is what they think. Girls will go to great lengths to meet up with a guy she's generally interested in. Even if there's a barrier she will find a way round it, so I don't think she's feeling you like that, but is talking about planning to meet up because she likes the idea that you're interested in her. Another thing though, what it could be possibly and what alot girls do is she may be really into you, and she recognises that you might be someone good for her as a serious partner, but because she has unresolved emotional issues, she's afraid to go ahead and meet up with you for risk of making herself too vulnerable which she's trying to avoid, despite actually wanting to meet someone she can be herself with - but she's stopping herself that's why she keeps cancelling last minute. (Something to watch out for is if you see or find out that she's been dating other guys whilst all the time planning and cancelling dates with you. If so, its a sure sign she has emotional issues because all these guys she is dating are almost always bad boys treating her like s**t, because she doesn't want to allow someone to treat her properly cause she's broken). If her reaction is negative, you can always make a joke or say "don't worry I have a good self-control" and then just change the subject. I got her some things she needed but now she is asking for me to spoil her but she won't even talk to me or let me see her. She never cared, she is just trying to get what she can and try to shame me into it. Today, I'm going silent on her.

I can't believe you have to spell these things out for guys. If a girl told me she wanted to bring her friend... I'd say, "only if she's at least as cute as you!" Then if she did bring the friend, that friend would get all my attention from then on.
Don't get mad at her if she's making all these excuses of not wanting to hangout with you in person. Instead ignore her, cut her off and move on. Don't let her use you for validation by being texting buddies.

I'm unfortunately in this exact situation with a girl who isn't interested in me. i've known her for almost a decade. I finally cut her off a couple weeks ago after the BS she pulled. Told her I was done with her, and I basically ended the friendship. Then over the memorial weekend, she had the audacity to send me a message, and I wasn't bothered to respond. I left her message on read like she tends to do to me all the time.

Give her a few days to think about you and remember you. 2. Days later. Introduce yourself. Shake hands exchange names. Say 'It was nice meeting you'. Walk away. Let her think about you even more. 3. Daus later. Walk upto her. Say 'Well fancy meeting you here. I'm really happy we met again. I've got to go bye' The keys is keep it brief. positive. infrequent. And she will develop good memories about. Within a few weeks she'll be asking for your number and a date.

Lots of great advice here. Open with your intentions, whether sexual or friendship. Make it known that you wanna take her to bed, show her your bad boy side as soon as possible in texts or in person. @@yorubamexico Yeah, brother, I hear you. But I'd give anything to be 37 again. I'm turning 61 in a couple of months. I'm in the exact same boat. It's horrible. I don't know what to do either, but, although super hard to swallow, this video showed me what I need to look for. I'm the proverbial "nice guy" and it screws me every time. I think its hard for any men at any age but i really appreciatte and understand what you said, actually yesterday i was reading somenthing about depression it says: imagine yourself as a 100yr old man sad for the things you didnt do, or because didnt gave your best in the past; Now: imagine god giving you a second chance to change your life and tomorrow morning you will have your age again… in our case 37 and 61 so.. take advantage of it. Really hard dating and find sonenthing real nowadays but it should be possible the thing its try many times and go out to know many people to find the one, i was the “nice guy” too so I know how it feels and have messed up for long but some important things ive learned last years its to look at women as a men as male friend and treat them like that, be normal and they will like you or not, also dont idealize love and last advice try to forget quick the good and the bad experiences because that dont last forever and everything change day by day, one girl told me once: People will like you for the things you give to yourself not for the things you give to them…. Guys, with due respect, nobody can pretend forever. If she doesn't like you she doesn't like you period. No matter how much you pretend and plan it won't matter. Just be natural and be yourself. You can't act confident when you are not confident. You'll make a fool out of yourself. I think men should be authentic and be who you really are. You cannot pretend all the time. So best idea is to achieve something in life be intelligent, educated, successful and look your best. Be honest and ask her. if she says no walk away. Have self respect. That's it.
Look if you are a nice guy and she friend zones you. She is not worth your time. She deserves everything she gets. Move on, better yourself and the real woman will surface and see you for the value you are. And I'm not talking monetary value either.
Guys, Let the women chase you. If they are interested in you then they will go the 'extra mile' to be next to you. As Dad stated, "If a woman wants to see you, she will". Stop wasting your time chasing women. It is not fun, it is not romantic, and it there is no reward in it whatsoever.
A nice guy getting these “signs” would make it easy for her, take her hints and bow out. It’s basically saying men should go ahead and reject themselves so women don’t have to be mean. It’s legit advice, don’t get me wrong but screw that! Why not keep hitting her up until she tells you to stop? If women feel bad saying no, why help them out? (Talking about dates here, not sex) She might finally agree to the date to shut you up. If you’re spending money and time with a woman who is clearly not into you, definitely remove yourself from the situation, but if all you’re doing is the occasional text or IG message, who cares? It costs you nothing and she might change her mind. She’ll probably reject you at some point, but you don’t have to do it for her.
Thanks for saying this, needed to hear this. The moment I saw the title of this vid, I knew it was applicable for a situation I'm in. She keeps texting me back, with pretty long messages I have to say, and she's pretty engaged. But... everytime I'm trying to set up a date, she talks around it, or she's busy. Lesson learned!
Made me laugh humorlessly when you said that about her bringing her friend. Back in High School the girl I had a crush on told me if she could bring her friend after not being able to see her for a while. In retrospect I should've seen she wasn't into me because she also was "busy" like three weeks straight. She asked if she could bring her friend and I wanted to say "NO" with all my heart but since I liked her so much I wanted to please her even in spite of myself. I tried to be nice to her friend and talked to her so she didn't feel like the third wheel. She was nice and we had some things in common so it wasn't that bad. After that, when I called my crush she asked about what I thought of her friend. I said she was nice and she was excited. She asked if I liked her in a romantic way. I was really confused, I said I wasn't. She asked why and I answered "Because I like YOU." She already knew that, I had told her before. She got really awkward and that was that pretty much. I got mad at her but the truth is it was my mistake. I should've told her I wanted to spend time only with her. It might have ended up the same but at least I wouldn't have that bitter memory.
