I would charge Mister R.L. Stine for false imprisonment for every monster in his collection as well as terrorism as he states he wrote the monsters to terrorize the kids on his block as he was a victim of bullying not to mention reckless endangerment as he kept each book on a shelf next to the very key that kept the locked away and as seen in the movie the book locks can be broken open as Slappy’s book was never unlocked but fell off the shelf and unlocked by itself.
