In a viral Tweet posted on December 7, 2012, when Modi was still the Chief Minister of Gujarat he wrote “If a student is weak and there is test day, you give questions a day in advance the student can get marks.” This cryptic statement has led to widespread online amusement and confusion, as well as questions about Modi’s intended meaning.
RU-vidr Dhruv Rathi and the Kerala Congress have been particularly vocal, using Modi’s old tweet to question his approach to governance and handling of the current exam scandal. Rathi quoted the tweet, asking, “What does Narendra Modi want to say?”
Whereas the Kerala Congress went further, accusing Modi of being the mastermind behind the alleged NEET scam, posting, “So NEET scam was his original idea. Students, this man is your Prime Minister.”

I will challenge you to come and once teach in govt school. The student straight away tell it on your face that he will not study and if you ask him what will he do when he grows up, he will say I will become e-rickshaw owner. PM Modi's method is quite a useless method as the students will rather choose to fail. Weak students are not even capable of reading and writing, so even open book exam cannot make them pass. This is because the prime focus of our earlier govt was on mid day meal. Now, all the students come to just have mid day meal and go back. It is good initiative for reducing child labour but for education it is quite useless. They could have just emphasized on getting the student the type of knowledge they are interested in like agriculture and other skill based knowledge alongside other basic knowledge
