Thus Ynnead is much weaker than should be but can manifest an avatar, give powers to chosen aeldari, and manipulate life and death and protect souls from Slaanesh, so not that bad all in all. The followers of Ynnead are a kind of new Aeldari faction made up of members of all Aeldari branches, except I suppose the Harlequins who already have a god who protects their souls. Vect was not very happy to discover that Ynnead turned out to be very real and is a sworn enemy of his cult and especially his leader Yvraine. The Aeldari avoid saying the name of Slaanesh whenever possible so as not to attract its attention. Timothy possibly is or was human, body horror is something that abounds in Comorragh.

You're pretty correct in your post-analysis. I don't have a whole lot to add, other than that in the game, the Ynnari (Cult of Ynnead) are able to recruit units from Drukhari (Dark Eldar), Craftworld Eldar, and Harlequins, and mix them together. The timing of thing and the long-running nature of the show means that it had diverged from canon slightly at this point, but in the tabletop, they...(expand for spoiler) half-succeeded at summoning Ynnead, basically forming a powerful but sub-deific avatar called the Yncarne.

5:11 Do not ask what goes on in Commorragh, the Dark Eldar are possibily the only people who can out evil the Choas gods, they are nasty little blighters. One example was an Archon who upset the Hamunculi, they activated a bio-weapon on her and her bodyguard and the bodyguards got the best fate of just dying, the Archon became a blob of fleash and then got remade into a monster to fight in the Gladiator pits and everytime she dies now she gets remade into a new monster and she knows and feels every second of it.

After the eldari gave birth to slannesh, they split into 3 separate factions, They have the same dynamic as High Elves and Dark Elves from most fantasy franchises, particularly warhammer fantasy. Dark Eldar which is who Vect leads, the Craftworld Eldar which is who Eldrad leads. And the Harlequins who that guy with the crazy trenchcoat and skull mask aswell as that colourful girl at the end belong to, they're just Eldar Clowns.

Vect's voice actor, SpeakerD, is also the lead writer for their new series, and is AMAZING. Probably my favorite video by him was the Intro To World of Darkness, but any voice roles or even just streams he does are great

This is one of my fav episodes of TTS, but its also one that assumes a bit more pre-knowledge than others. The Eldar have a lot of interesting shit going on, but unfortunately they often get overshadowed by the Imperium. But yeah, Vect is actually one of the most terrifying people in the 40k universe. Also quite possibly one of the oldest. Was a slave about to be sacrificed when Slaanesh was born, and saw the fall of the Eldar in person, roughly over 10k years ago.

Basically the dark eldar and Lord vect make Josef mengale and Harvey Weinstein look heroic by comparison
