Dude, I literally just woke up from a dream; all I remember is hearing Godflesh doing a cover of "Mmm, Mmm, Mmm, Mmm" by Crash Test Dummies, and I immediately thought of you. Btw, I'm recovering from major surgery with the good drugs and fell asleep with a massive random playlist in my headphones, so ... yeah. Kinda have an idea where the dream came from. 😂
"Rolling Stones' Jumpin' Jack Flash? did they do a cover of the Denis Pauna song or something?" This is already one of my favorites, not just of southern metal but your songs in general! Absolutely love that riff that opens the song up, that descending melody has such a melancholy beauty to it. Kind of reminds me of if AC/DC built more off of that Hells Bells sound. Those muted/dead notes in the bridge sound awesome too, especially with how you did the drums.
Interesting cover, the Rolling Stone’s could never sound like that however, Mick Jaggar doesn’t have that voice, and, unfortunately, they couldn’t ever sound that heavy. It sounds great though, it’s about time you just do your version of a song, take your pick. Thanks for sharing your music with us all! Please have an excellent and awesome day! ☀️✨🎸
I do kinda like this, but Keith Richards himself admits to playing with five strings with open G tuning. 🤷🏻♂️ Silly bastard should've played in C-standard. 😂
