Im not sure if you can count all 9 of the kills in Arizona. He likely only got a portion of them, given that Jack and the others were there and probably killed a good chunk
Felony murder means that he did not commit the murders himself, but he's guilty of them due to commiting a felony with the murderers. Also there should be 10, not 9, he counted incorrectly.
No but I see your logic and a good defence lawyer might argue that for leniency. However, the intent to kidnap Jessie(intent is a huge part of the law) was to coerce and exploit him to manufacture narcotics. Additionally he could be charged with gang enhancement because this crime was committed to aid the financial situation of a criminal enterprise
Regardless of what intentions he had or if it “saved his life”, holding him in captivity for months in abysmal conditions and enslaving him to cook meth is still holding him in captivity for months in abysmal conditions and enslaving him to cook meth.
@@ZevexTheScot Of course false imprisonment, coercion and drug trafficking were not legal, because after kidnapping him Todd could secretly call the police.
The fact that Todd was in love with Lydia and didn’t have the nerve to ask her out after more than a year should get him 1000 years without parole by itself
Offenses under the jurisdiction of Universe: Crushing On Lydia Per Se (with additional Enhancement for Failing to Shoot His Shot): Sentence: 95+ Years Friendzone Plus $80 Million Fine (Yes, *that* $80 Million (from the desert))
Because the law wasn't made to protect people. it was made to keep the peace so the bourgeois could sleep quietly and make money. Just see how much a rapist get if he ever gets to jail (1% of rape cases by the way) and compare that to someone who created a streaming/torrent platform. The cops are here to protect the rich. The law is here to protect the rich and punish those who disturb their business. You think dealing weed is highly finned and punished because of the "health" risk? No, just because government doesn't make money on it. As soon as they know how to tax it and control it they're fine.
@@cinemacop It was also committed as part of committing a larger crime (the train robbery), so even if it wasn't against a kid, it would still be first degree
@@cinemacop No. First degree would mean that it was pre-meditated. He killed the kid as a kneejerk reaction, meaning he'd be on the hook for second degree murder. (EDIT) I forgot about felony murder. The kill wasn't planned, BUT: the robbery was planned. However, second degree murder charges could be more likely to stick.
Wouldn't the murders in prison just be "conspiracy to commit murder". He wasn't there, didn't actually murder any of them. Just introduced Walt & Jack so they could plan the murders.
Depends on the state because some states you would get charged with the murder or I think it’s facilitation or sum shit. Paying sumbody to kill sum1 is a worser charge I think
Anakin would be charged with so many counts of perfidy. It became so habitual that super tactical droids were programmed to recognize when he was pulling that stunt
8:44 I wouldn't just give "conspiracy to commit murder" here, but full "first-degree murder", because Walt died due to him having to defend himself from them and you gave Gustavo first-degree murder for Nacho's suicide, because Nacho was forced to do that in order for him to not be tortured and in order to save his father.
Todd is one of the worst people in the entire series despite his not so intimidating appearance, he is at the same tier as Tuco and his own uncle. Like it takes a really sick person to murder a child who seen something, and to imprison a guy to make meth for him and killing the guy's girlfriend meanwhile
Alex Delarge? Jigsaw? Calvin Candie? Joffrey Baratheon? Ramsay Snow? Palpatine? Freddy Krueger? Jack Welker? Frank Underwood/Francis Urquhart? Johnny Klebitz?
@@scoobydoofan24 I mean, he both saved Jessie from getting killed by Jack (I find it hard to believe he really just wanted to plase Lydia forever) and also offered him ice cream, he's not the type for a torture and interrogation
I feel like the Judge would take just take one look at Todd and his Crimes and give him the Death Penalty!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
