Today we have everyone's favourite Wallace and Gromit Villains in the Courtroom. We got Feathers McGraw ( Penguin from Wallace and Gromit: The Wrong Trousers ), Preston ( Wallace and Gromit: A Close Shave ) , Piella Bakewell (Wallace and Gromit: A matter of Loaf and Death) and Victor Quartermaine (Wallace and Gromit: The curse of the were-rabbit). What crimes have they comitted? Will they get away with them? Stay tuned and find out!

Wouldn't Feathers McGraw also be charged for illegal modifications (for stealing the Techno Trousers' controls and making them into a remote control), incrimination (for making Wallace cause trouble), breaking and entering by proxy (for the museum heist), aggravated assault (for holding Gromit at gunpoint), reckless firearm discharge (for shooting up the house), and property damage (for shooting off a door)?

Guns are not entirely illegal in the UK, but they’re incredibly strict with what owners can have, and I heavily doubt a revolver is legal in anyway. I forgot the term for when someone buys guns illegally, but I’d definitely charge the penguin for owning it.

So is Victor allowed to own his weapon? Is his weapon legal or more legal than a revolver? I assume it is for hunting, but I just want to double check, and if he can carry it around in public the way he does.

Wallace's transformation into the wererabbit absolutely terrified me as a kid. When I saw the fur appearing on his hands, I immediately got up and left the room. I was even shaking in fear in the other room because I could still hear Wallace's shouts of pain and the noises of his body changing. Also, god damn, these criminals would die in jail before they even finished their years sentences! I know that's the point of life in prison, but jeez...

Preston was one of the most unnerving Wallace and Gromit villains, especially when you find out he's a robot dog. Feathers is my favorite of the villains, although I may be biased because I love penguins. Still hoping Animated Courtroom will cover Will Vinton villians [Adventures Of Mark Twain, Rip Van Winkle, California Raisins Sold Out, The California Raisins Show, Claymation Easter, and Claymation Comedy Of Horror], and Laugh O Grams/Alice Comedies characters [Julius The Cat, who although a protagonist does a ton of villian-type stuff, OG Pete when he was a bear, and the one off villains].

I would say considering the relative year Wallace and Gromut is set in, guns probably are still legal since it is before the law was passed. But I mean Feathers McGraw probably didn't legally acquire the revolver. Also if we do follow by modern UK law Victor's conduct with a firearm.would have his licenses and rifle taken away.

Victor also sabotaged the prize trophy for the vegetable contest to make his final bullet. Due to the fact that the movie insists the bullet must be 24 Karats that means the large piece of gold is of significant value, somewhere in the tens of thousands at least. For the damage he knowingly inflicted on this item he no doubt would have an additional fine at the least.

On Victor's first reckless endangerment charge: he'd just fired the single shot rifle, cleared the chamber and left the action open before muzzling the townspeople. Technically no danger but still poor behaviour when welding a firearm

Victor during this should have been charged with illegal discharge of a firearm as he opens fire multiple times during and he does this in reckless and stupid places where the rounds can easily kill somebody. Also he carries his weapon illegally as, when in public, firearms must be concealed in a case and not brandished or visible, so would lead to his firearm being seized by police.

Surely Wendoline must cop some punishment for knowing what Preston was doing to the livestock, but she could legally argue that she was forced and subdued in to it, deflecting the crime on to Preston. If she didn't cop for it, he must cop for some sort of crime for intimidation surely?

Minor objection: Preston, as a robot, cannot be charged as a criminal. However, whoever built him can be charged with his crimes plus Criminal Negligence for letting a dangerous machine with no qualms about committing homicide run around. Also, you never charged him with stealing the livestock, even if he worked on the farm, he still took them from the property without the owner's permission, and that's a Per head crime, meaning he'd have a charge for every animal taken from the farm and slaughtered.

10:36 I would exactly say that was Reckless Endangerment considering while yes his finger was on the trigger. That was a bolt action rifle and his bolt was still open implying that another round wasn’t ready yet. Improper firearms treatment yes, actions that would throw you out of any firearms license training also yes, but the bolt was still open so there wasn another round chambered.

To be fair to the penguin he could have left Wallace at the scene of the crime and gotten away scot free. I do not think the sheep belong to Preston and the fields might have been privately owned so thats trespassing, theft of property (the sheep) not to mention the lass being coerced into helping.

Great Vid, Though, Preston stealing the Knit-O-Matic and rebranding it as his own is Patent Infringement, not Copyright Infringement because the Knit-O-Matic was an invention, not an expression of art. Wallace even said, "I've got patents pending on that." The name "Knit-O-Matic" that he kept though constitutes Trademark Infringement because it was what Wallace called his product.

Firearms aren't completely illegal just heavily restricted, most guns used for hunting are allowed with the right permits which Victor presumably has, the revolver that Feathers McGraw (the penguin) had however would be illegal to own
