There are tons of fics out there that stick to more source material. If you are looking for certain pairings in particular, Ao3 has a search tool that makes it easy to search by ships. I will say one of the purposes of fanfiction is to explore outside of source material, which is why pairings tend to branch out more, exploring other possibilities. But I hope you're able to find some fics or podfics that are what you enjoy reading or listening to! 💚
