Fr. Michael P. O'Connor, Besides attending my usual prayers and mass from Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Gulu Uganda, I don't miss to watch and listen to your teachings. To me, It's an added opportunity to hear the Good News. You are inspirational to me and my family. God bless you and the people in your parish.
Two years ago, the Church I attend was unable to podcast any longer so I searched the internet to find a church I could listen to 😅and only by the Grace of God, I came upon Our Lady of the Gulf Church and Fr. Mike. Since then I have urged my friends and my family to listen to him. I thought I had heard Fr. Mike reach the pinnacle of instructing us in God’s word but this day has surpassed them all. Our prayers should be that God continues to Bless him and keep him safe. We need to hear this Man of God! He is not telling us who we should vote for but reminding us of what our Faith tells us and letting us decide who can help us on our journey!
Amen. I just happened across Father Mike O’Connor after also listening to Father Mark Beard (now deceased at a young age). Such wonderful and holy priests who are not afraid to speak the truth. Thank you Father O’Connor. You are an amazing priest. Praying for all our priests and religious and the departed soul of Father Beard (who would say we better pray for him or he will come back to haunt us; to never assume one goes to Heaven). 😊🙏❤️🔥🕊️
Amen, Fr. Mike! One of the great sins in our leaders today - both and out of the Church- is silence! You are not in that group. People are hungry for the TRUTH that you share with us each week! May the Lord continue to bless your ministry!
FABULOUS HOMILY, Fr Mike. Thank you for guiding us through the Word. So many details most would never know (meaning of Bartimaeus, throwing off the cloak) brings out the depth of this account. Shared it with all my friends. God bless you and keep you❤
Father Mike, your sermon was so powerful - you speak the truth and you are a wonderful gift from God to us! May God Bless you always! Always look forward to your sermons and always learn more about God!🙏🙏🙏🙏
Thank you Fr Mike for your words today 🙏🏻🕊✝️🕊🙏🏻. ’What do you want Me to do for you…’ is very thought provoking for me because ultimately I want Jesus to allow me to enter Heaven 🙏🏻🕊✝️🕊🙏🏻
Amazing homily!! What Malcom Muggeridge said, beginning at about 18:30, sounds like what CS Lewis wrote in "Abolition of Man." This is a great read and quite short, but extremely profound--"suicide of self." Not just suicide of self, but suicide of a nation.🤔 Blessings on this beautiful Lord's Day.
