I will be using the garden walk going forward just to bypass those crowds. Be sure to call the 714 # on the ticket to make sure they honor the $18 parking. Some of my followers on tikTok said it went back to $30 so I’m not sure if they changed pricing now that more guest are visiting Disney. Hope you enjoy the paths when you go 😊🤍
THANK YOU SO MUCH! My bf and I are traveling from Iowa and spending the week in SoCal and he promised he would take me to disney. We were worried about parking prices and this helps so much!
How exciting!!! Im glad to be or help. I know that since my video came out there has been changes in pricing since the parks are busier and summer brings in lots of visitors. Check the website for most accurate pricing at the garden walk. The Mickey and friends parking lot is still $25 and you will still have to walk the tram route. I hope this helps 😊
that is a good tip but if your going to disneyland and want some free parking there is the toy story parking lot near some hotels which im gonna try this next trip they have a free shuttle to the harbor entrance so you can just park and walk to the shuttle and on busy days they do security at the parking lot so you dont have to do security at harbor it seems like a great way to get to disney and while it is a cast parking lot its for all guests
Hi! Thank for the video! One question, in order to get that special price when parking at garden walk do you have to buy something in the park and show that receipt as proof that I went to the park?
Hi Alyssa thanks for watching 😊 you do not have to show proof of park entry. This video is old so things have changed. Parking at the garden walk is now $12.50 and you don’t have to call anymore. There is a text line. I have a RU-vid short in my Shorts playlist that goes over this process. You can also find it on my IG or Tiktok. Check it out for the most up to date info
Parking at the Garden Walk seems SO MUCH easier than parking at the Mickey& Friends structure. I would gladly pay $30 if it meant I didn't have to make that trek from the structure to the esplanade. Going Tuesday June 15th!
Hi Val in my opinion it really is easier and a lot less stressful than the Mickey & friends parking structure especially if you are going with little ones. After a long day at the parks I don’t think anyone wants to make that walk. I was just there on Friday and they are still honoring the $18 just be sure to call the 714 # on the ticket and ask them to validate your ticket. A lot of people are saying it doesn’t work but it does I filmed an updated video and will pushing soon to show everyone step by step how to get the Disney rate instead of paying $30. If you have any questions let me know 😊
@@JenniferTran do you think it's realistic to get dropped off at the drop off area, hubs go park the car at the GW, and meet back up with us at the drop off site? Hubs doesn't mind walking but we have a 5 year old who complains.
@@mrsvalaxie We took kids ages 5-15 and they all walked from the GardenWalk with no issues. I think staying together would be best because the lines at harbor can get overwhelming so trying to find someone or even getting through the crowd to find you and your son may be challenging. When you’re walking to the park you can see guardians of galaxy so maybe point that out and show your son so he can get hyped up and not think about the walk 😊
@@mrsvalaxie I used Disney Way but when I entered it in Maps it automatically selected Katella. You can park then walk through the garden walk then use Disney Way.
How long is the walk from disney harbor entrance to the main gate? I’m torn if I should book a hotel near Harbor entrance but it’s pricey or look for another hotel then just park at the Toy Story parking and take shuttle.
According to google maps the walk is less than half a mile and in my opinion most of the hotels on harbor are in walking distance. I have never stayed at one of them but I assume it’s pricier than the ones further away. Toy story is a great lot to park at it’s easy to find away from all the end of the day traffic when everyone is trying to leave the parks.
Hi Josh I always start my day at DCA when I have a park hopper. I find it’s less crowded in the mornings so if you start there you can hit up the popular rides then head over to Disney and finish off at Disneyland to be able to watch the fireworks show at night.
Actually the trams aren’t gonna be opened, there gonna reopen the system in more than a while because the trams are like 23 years old and they haven’t been turned on in one year due to the pandemic so that means the trams are dead and disney are working on *new trams* Edit: the trams aren’t closed because of COVID it’s because the trams haven’t been turned on in 1 year and a half and also they’re old.
I use to work at Disneyland in parking and transportation. Instead of walking the trams route you can just keep walking straight though downtown Disney all the way to the Disneyland hotel and on your right it will take you to the Mickey and friends parking also downtown Disney gives you 3hr parking for free if you don’t plan on staying long also pumba parking across the street on Clementine or simba parking on the left side of Disneyland hotel 😊need any more secrets don’t hesitate to ask ☺️☺️☺️😀
We are looking to get there by 8:30 AM. Do you have info on when you got there at the Gardenwalk, and how much time/what time you got to the gate at Disneyland?
We parked at garden walk and the directions said to get the $18 fee for parking we needed to text our parking ticket and a theme park merchant receipt number to a number that was listed on their website. We were trying to text the number but nothing was working. We ended up paying 18$ today. Not sure what we missed. Happen to have an idea?
We actually just went on Sunday and instead of texting I just called the 714# on the receipt (that’s how I’ve always done it) I do see the text instructions on their website but haven’t tried it that way. If you go back try calling after you park and ask the tenant to validate your ticket they will then ask for that long ID on the receipt and then they change it on their end. When you leave scan your ticket at the box and it should read $18
We were there last month and omg wish we had seen this first. I’m older and a bit heavy, the walk back to Mickey and Friends was a nightmare leaving the park 😰
We also tried the Mickey and friends route and it was very hard after a long day at the parks. The Anaheim garden walk increased there prices so I believe it’s $30 now but still worth it since the walk is shorter. I have also parked at the Anaheim hotel for $20 (prices and availability vary depending on time if visit) the distance from the hotel to the harbor entrance is a bit shorter than the Anaheim garden walk. Both are great options and the Toy story lot is now open with trams to the park but I’ve heard it’s very busy and lines get long
Do you know if you can enter through downtown Disney? My hotel is closer to the downtown Disney entrance so I was thinking about going straight through there, but I’m worried I’ll get there and there won’t be a way to get in.
I am not 100% sure but I would say yes because downtown Disney is open and eventually leads in the entrance. I would recommend calling downtown Disney to confirm 😊
Can we enter through downtown Disney ? We booked the best western Stovall hotel and on Google Maps it leads us to the downtown Disney entrance not sure if it is open? We went through there 2 years ago.
I believe you can. We didn’t enter through that side but we saw people walking through there. I would recommend calling the hotel you booked at to confirm 😊
The walk is not necessarily shorter in distance but it is a lot closer to the esplanade after you go through security you are right at the entrance gates where as if you mark in Mickey and friends or Pixar you will have to walk the entire tram route which takes you into Downtown Disney. Per my experience harbor is easier 😊
You’re welcome!! If you park at the garden walk please remember to call the 714 number on your ticket and ask them to validate for Disney park attraction. I do mine when I’m still in the lot so it’s all set when I return. The rate should still be $18. I was there June 4 and 5th they still honored that pricing 😊
Yes the price is good but now I wouldn’t recommend it mostly because my friends car got it’s catalytic converter stolen yesterday while we were in the parks
I have a question. We plan on going in 2023. Do we have to show proof of negative COVID test before entering? I will do a at home test so do I have to show the actual test? Someone please let me know
@@JenniferTran Im not worrying about the travel. Im wondering if they make you show proof of negative COVID test before entering the park. Did they make you show proof?
When we went in May 2021 they did kit required proof to come into Mexico but to return to the US they required proof. Again that may change in 2023 so it’s a bit hard to give you a direct answer as things are constantly changing when it comes to travel
Still no testing or proof of vaccine. The announcement today about showing proof of vaccine is for LA county. The Disney parks are in OC so as of now no testing or proof required to enter the parks but that can always change 😊
Hi, yes you were able to take a ride share to be dropped off or picked up I would recommend asking the driver to drop you off on the Harbor entrance side. If they need an exact location plug in the IHOP that’s literary right cross street. I’ll put that address below. As of right now I would a hotel along Harbor Blvd would be your best option until they bring back the trams. I have no clue when that will be but once the trams are up and running you should be able to park on the site and it won’t be so much of a long walk. Here’s the address for ihop I hope this info helps 😊 1560 S Harbor Blvd Anaheim, CA 92802 United States
I called them. They say it's $25 with the AA code. I guess that's the same as regular price? Perhaps a few.bucks less. They also have some deal where you buy a block of four for $18 dollars a pop. Not that ideal unless you go there for other things on a regular basis.
$18 for 9.5 hours sound like you got the flat $18 Convention Center rate for Designated Days. Otherwise it should have been $24 (1st hour free, 8 x $3) and $30 max. Parking Rates • First Hour - Complimentary After the First Hour (or any fraction thereof) - $3.00/hour Daily Parking Maximum - $30.00 Convention Center - $18.00 flat on designated days/12 hour max
I work at a hotel in the area and our info states $18 for theme park parking, though I do see on the website where you got your info. Maybe they're just allowing a lowered rate temporarily but this was the information their rep provided for us!
@@BeeHind For a while their website said $18 for Theme Park if you Text some information from a receipt in the park. Then they removed that line but people on blogs said you could still get the $18 rate if you texted to that number. Now they added a bunch of Special Rates: Special Parking Rates: - Hotel Stay- $20.00 daily. Please inquire with your hotel concierge for a GardenWalk validation coupon. - Anaheim Attractions - $25.00 All Day. Upon entry please text your parking ticket # and "AA" to 949.532.8293. Payment completed upon exit. - Convention Center - $18.00 All Day (12Hr max). Upon entry please text your parking ticket # and "CC" to 949.532.8293. Payment completed upon exit. - Long-term and Residential - Please Inquire
Unfortunately not they went back up to $30 at the beginning of 2022. The trams are up and running now so for the same price you can park at one of the Disney parking lots
I am not 100 % sure we parked for about 10 hours and paid $18 however I’ve heard from others that they paid $30 for all day. They may have changed pricing now that Disney has increased capacity
Hi Miguel thanks for the tip we filmed this video before that lot opened but we will definitely be using that lot next visit to the parks. Have a great weekend 😊
Hi Dave I actually just went yesterday and last week and it is still working. They have made it more convenient now for visitors by allowing us to text our ticket number along with the phrase “Disney attraction” you will then get a confirmation text saying “completed” it is still valid. Did you try calling the 714 number listed on your parking ticket? Give them a call and see if they will honor the $18 and refund you the difference
