Ah shit i missed it, i just turned 19 yesterday

I think about this a lot. I'm 14 years old and I spend a lot of time stressing about school and extracurriculars, and whatever bullsh*t. Because, supposedly, every choice we make affects our future. But I'll make sure to enjoy myself and have fun with my friends and throw away my phone so I can better enjoy my today. To more memories, regardless of my age, cheers.

I don't wanna grow up :(

In 8th grade my life turned upside down with a trauma (not gonna give any details) In 9th grade I got bullied,had a mean teacher and I was sad. In 10th grade, I got bullied, discriminated and depressed. I wanted to die. I felt numb. Empty. Emotionless. And now, I'm in 11th grade and dealing with almost 6 mental health issues,0 friends or people I can trust or to open up, feeling exhausted, depressed and I just feel like I'm not good enough. I feel like a complete idiot who can't even do simple things. I don't wanna look back and say "good old times". I really wanna kms if I do so. This is crazy and all messed up. Edit: Now I will almost finish 11th grade. And I'm feeling better. I'm trying to change my mindset and pov. I got a new reply and remembered about this comment I've written. I have friends now and there are people I can trust, even if I can't open up. I'm just studying to get the life I want. And hopefully I will :)

This is exactly how I think. When you are trying to achieve a goal, you are in this constant stage where you are just trying to grow up. But once you actually get there, you will realize that the real pleasure was not achieving the goal but the journey you took into achieving the goal, the thing you learned and went through.

I am 15 and some months back we went on a school trip and me and my friend we saw alot of adults having fun and having boyfriends so we were like " can't wait to grow to do all this fun " and when we reached at our hotels in our room there was a photo frame which said " Don't grow up its a trap "

life doesn't seem fair atm so I don't think I can do the good old days justice or have limitless potential. after all, dreams are still tied to money. sad but true.

My good old days were at like 7, everything past that point has gone down hill and it keeps on getting worse and worse, every time you think you're at rock bottom, you discover another void below.

This was actually a perspective I hadn't thought about in depth but I love how I came across this video. It really helped me to remember to don't take days for granted and to don't take moments for granted.

Everyday is a good day.. Just change ur perspective. Don’t ever waste your time looking back in time saying it was the good old days or wasting your entire mid twenties wishing for a time travel. 20-30. 30-40. 40-50 everytime we age we go into different stages

im still in my teen years and im glad that i have always treasured my experiences and daily life since the beginning of my late childhood in writing diaries. Thats how i know how i used to be and how far i have come and how much has changed since then. Growing up sucks but can't be helped its part of life.

That was some wise wisdom that I’m going to have to take to heart because I have been thinking a lot about my future over the last year like what college am I trying to go for to what job I want to try to go for but man I’m going to have to send this to all my friends

well actually it's so true i am 17 passed my high school this year for like until last year i really used to be like omg one day i am gonna do this that blah blahh blah and ig so it was common? but the thing i was lacking was not living and enjoying the present moments i am getting to spend with my friends family and everyone and now i feel so grateful for the change of mindset i enjoy every second of my day whether I'm working studying or i'm with my friends!

Last 3 months of high school, we take a huge uni acceptance exam where i live in june and competition is fierce. I can't remember the last time i did something fun with my friends and excluding student clubs and friends the fun parts of my high school experience seems non-existent. I'm by no means a perfect student but i would say i'm better than most people in that regard, i have been doing everything in my power to not go through this wake up eat study sleep experience once again and i'm confused out of my goddamn mind. I really hope that these aren't the best or it will be all downhill from here.

needed to hear this! it definitely hit me last year the hardest when I turned 20 and it dawned on me that i wasn’t a teenager anymore and didn’t do any stereotypical teenagery things but then again i look back on those years and think about how much fun i had. i wish i didn’t rush to get older, i remember being 13 and being so excited to get in uni and now that im in my third year and heading to my fourth and final next year, it’s crazy to think about how much has changed. How many trivial things i worried about that ultimately meant nothing and had no resounding impact on my life. I’ve definitely learnt to live for the now and to focus on the time we’re in now, to give myself the space to grow and prevent myself from being entrapped in the cycle of ‘back then’. Because at the end of the day, I know I’m going to be looking back at right now thinking the same thing. Idk was longer than intended but I think it proves how great this 4 min vid was at hitting that spot. Great vid! Subbed :)
