Moved up here from the 757 for a career at one of big 4 accounting firms. It's a double edged sword with the cost of living but the money is definitely also here. There's always something to do in DC/DMV area whether it's sports, clubbing, history, food, you name it. VB in comparison was dead except for the summer time.

So what area am I supposed to avoid? 😅

Stay away from DC if you don't make above 120k a year. You'll regret it. I'm getting outta here the minute I have a better opportunity elsewhere.
