I moved from Tampa to Washington DC a few months ago and I’m thinking of purchasing a single family home there, but with real estate prices currently through the roof, is it still a good idea to buy a home or should I invest in stocks for now and just wait for a housing market correction?
@ArchieJohnson5h
@ArchieJohnson5h Месяц назад
it’s a personal decision, but according to Forbes, housing activities will remain stagnant for the most part of the year, so maybe hold off a little.

well you could put a downpayment on a home and as well diversify as much as you can into Ai, energy and big pharm. stocks like Pfizer and JnJ, ASML, MLM and S&P 500 ETFs. I’d suggest you go with a managed portfolio, but even those don’t perform so well, so it’s best you reach out to a proper fiduciary to guide you, that’s what works for my spouse and I making a whooping $738k in Q4 last year

There are many advisors to choose from. But I work with 'Leah Foster Alderman' and we've been working together for years and she's fantastic. You could check her if she meets your requirements. Just research the name. You’d find necessary details to work with

I was done when each of them came with an HOA, nope 🙅🏾‍♀️. However, the 1st two condos would be great for 1st time home buyers with no kids and they will continue to appreciate in value. The townhome is 🔥, it will also appreciate in value since SE is the new hot spot because it is still affordable for now. They did a great job on the renovations 👏🏾👏🏾.

Has somebody bumped their head to get this particular little unit you will be paying almost 4000 a month for the small place.
@eattherich9215
@eattherich9215 Месяц назад
@4:11, you are paying $460,000 to live in your kitchen? You probably can't even open the fridge door without hitting the sofa. @5:17, that isn't a bedroom. There is no "closet" and by the time you get a bed in there, the room will be full, so no space for a freestanding wardrobe. Having two TINY bathrooms in a two bedroom house is nonsense. There should be a 'Jack and Jill' arrangement thereby giving each bedroom a little more space. @10:49, wow, that is wild. The second unit makes more sense. It has a bigger kitchen/living space and a larger bedroom. It seems as if the first property tried to squeeze in more in the same amount of space. @21:37, that is a LOT of money to pay for a convenient location. @25:23, I would favour Lidl over Safeway. @26:07, at least you are not walking in off the street into the kitchen and the living room is not a bad size. I like the powder room. The kitchen is small, but there is a pantry for more storage. The second floor (UK viewer here) has the most space. I was thinking that nearly $500,000 is pricey, but you get quite a lot for the money. However, you can't really buy anything in Washington DC for $400,000.

How can you tell that a real estate agent is not looking for your best interests? He tells you what you could buy with a 3% down instead of 20%
@BashirBadruDMVRealtor
@BashirBadruDMVRealtor Месяц назад
@@tuan2u 3% is the minimum down payment required to buy a home. Im not telling anyone to do anything. Im just using it as an example. People can do whatever they want. In the real world most people are not walking around with a 20% downpayment anyway. You personally might have the ability to put down 20% but that doesn’t mean everyone else can…. especially not at this $400,000 first time homebuyer price point. On average most people put down 3-10%.
