Thanks AJ, great video as always! I’m scoring around 63% on mocks. Should I do more questions (and review) or keep taking mocks (and review)? My exam is in a Week exactly. TIA!
hey do you have stats on (a) what percentage of charterholders cleared all levels without having to retake, and (b) what is the average number of exams taken by charterholders? I'm guessing around 15% and maybe 4.8 to 5.2, respectively. Genuinely curious what the real figures are.
I saw those stats before and I'm not remembering. Let me see if I can find it. I think the number is more like 40%, just because many people who fail one exam never end up trying them all.
Still recall pre/post test settings travel..... . from hotel ballroom/ conference setting in Tampa to Miami cruise center to Jville computer base for final level.... closest will come to pregame hype of professional athlete.
@@straighttalks-ajsrmek323 CFA online practice questions are same as EOC questions except a few and CFA mocks I can't afford, is there anything else that I can use? And what are blue box examples 😭
AJ - this is my second time testing for Level 1 - last time I was average if 60% on mocks(Kaplan) an failed by a slim(ish) margin on the test. Now I am 3 mocks in (CFA Institute mocks) 69%,71%,67%. I am considering deferring and taking in Feb hopefully obtaining the 75-80% is this unrealistic? Should I go head and take it? I feel much better but the thought of failing 2x is brutal.
Hey, That's a very tough question since you are borderline there. I think the best answer is that if you can get in 5+ more mocks between now and your exam, do it now. If not, defer.
Hey AJ, I have a question that seems like it's a gray area, but during the tutorial page of the CFA exam, am I allowed to regurgitate the formulas I have in my head and jot them down on the scratch paper they provide to me? I think this is a solid strategy to utilize the 15 minutes before the exam to just put them on the paper they provide instead of during the exam time due to nerve racking or second guessing as such.
Hi AJ, I am a fan of you and watched many of your videos. Is it OK to reset and rework Question Banks the Topics that I have very low accuracy? I am wondering if it is effective in CFA revision. Thank you very much!
Hi, thanks for your support on the videos! And yes I think that is a very effective study strategy. You need to learn to master all the areas that you have struggled with.
