Really like my Staccato P! And learning to shoot from your help for me the None 2011 or 1911 shooter! Greg your advice has been Ultimately my best go to for advice and I thank you. But since my Addiction keeps growing! the C2 is a must have for me too! And we need to start a Group A.T.S.A for peoples Addictions!! ADDICTION TO STACCATO ANONYMOUS!! (A.T.S.A) My first Staccato I've shot was the XL and man what a beauty to shoot!! Which was the day i was hooked.
Glad I can help, Sir. Thank you for the kind words...currently working on a project for EDC showing the different sizes of pistols and pros/ cons of each size...Greg
@threatcadre Big question for a C2 soon to be person! Which inside components would you recommend for, say, Concealment and home defense and range shooting? Such as triggers and springs and ignition controls and brands? Maybe even a gun person to do this work to make sure its done right?
@@dennissmith1469 honestly. They run perfect out of the box. I believe I was one of the first to put flat triggers in the C2. Post an IG pic and it took off. I have a video dropping tonight concerning magazines. Particularly towards the C2. If you want a “custom trigger”. I recommends the Brazos 1911 tuned kits. All mine that I installed came to a 1.9 lb trigger. So had to add some poundage. I like the Streamlight TLR7a for WML. But as far as inside components. It’s perfect stock. Just need lubed and shot. 👊🏼🇺🇸
New subscriber, that was a perfect summary of the nagging questions I have been having. I was on the fence on several models. I know me, and I’m sure I will end up with a couple of them. Your order was very close to my thoughts. Your number 1 pick was exactly what I’ve been thinking. You threw me for a loop with the P models though and different metals. So do you see a purpose for having your steel P anymore since you have the aluminum and does one shoot better than the other
C2 hands down #1. Price, fits any defense situation and can use each magazine (16,17,20,26)… All the different lights and optics look nice on it. You can run full size accessories or concealed sized accessories . XC is the funniest though. 😂
Agreed, Sir. I purchased one when they first came out...the ones that had the finish issues due to DLC coating and not the anodized...It replaced my 2019 P as my daily carry...thank you for your input. Greg
Yes Sir....I have the Staccato P 2019 Legacy, as well.....i like it...I thought the 2020 P was a step up, when the restroked it...and added length to it....both solid pistols.
As a proud owner of one Staccato, I opted for the C2, even though I had the CS on order. For all of the reasons you stated, it’s the best, most reliable and versatile gun I will ever own. Thanks for your honest and straightforward reviews.
Thank you for your feedback...I have over 50k rds between two C2s..and they continue to impress me...perfect size for the "one all do all"...extremely controllable and accurate...
Agree if you can only have 1 the c2 is amazing. I’m fortunate enough to be able to have 2 so I have the steel P for duty and the cs for off duty carry.
haha...not always about the high price....but, when choosing one pistol to cover all basis...the XC isn't it...may hurt some feelings with that line up...lol😁
Totally agree, I have the C2 limited edition with the ICE comp and DLC coating. Best gun I have ever owned and I am 73, owned many pistols. Love this flat shooter with an excellent trigger, even from the factory.
Agree 1000%. Another reason I try to get individuals to think before they purchase...and what they main goal is...If they already have another Staccato...then the CS is obvious choice. Same firing sequence....only smaller...haha. Thank you for your input. Greg
@@douglasu5914 another solid option I run a few of the Staccatos is the EGW ignition kits from Brazos..he hand fits them...every one come from him drops in at 1.9 lbs..haha
Nice list! You're right, they all are outstanding. The C2 is my do all, but happiness is burnin' it down on the range w/a steel framed P (Respectful apologies to the XC, because I don't own one yet). I guess if I had to do it all over & could only have one, I think I'd buy the aluminum P.
The the one thing that aluminum P has over the C2,IMHO, the tool less guide rod. The only downfall of the C2 is the recoil master. 🤷🏻♂️. But a steel frame P with a 17 lb mainspring is hard to beat. 👊🏼🇺🇸
Most people would think they want C2 until you shoot P, but then got their hand on steel frame XC shot them back to back. But you quickly realize you only really need a C v2 😉and then the C/C2 slide to CS frame is game over folks.
Agreed..but, use caution on the C2 slide/ barrel on a CS. Some fit...some don't, depending on the fit...but, they are stroked different..which can cause huge issues. Same thing with the C2 on a P steel frame...it can be done...but, being stroked different will cause issues..
The XC is an amazing piece of hardware....and if the ranking was for HD, Range or Duty.....It would have been at the top....thank you for your input, sir.
My first Staccato was a P. I love this gun but wish I had gone the C2 route only as could use a C2 to carry. The P is just too large for me to carry. Maybe I have not found the right holster for it. I would like to carry it but no luck so far. So seriously considering the C2.
@@threatcadre want to carry appendix but have not had much success. Just can’t seem to adjust to it. Again probably have not found the best holster to make it work appendix.
@@threatcadre will give it a try. Probably shrinking the belly down some more will help as well. 😀Thanks for the info. The P is awesome. Really don’t need any other of my pistols now……
Good info I see you have serration on C2 slide and looks cool , is there any benefit having serration besides being slightly lighter and doe’s being lighter on front makes gun snappier compared to C2 without serrations ? Thank you , God bless
I find with the serrations, it has more of a "positive" feel when press checking. There is not enough weight removed to make it snappier Sir...plus, I like the way it looks...haha
There are 0 issues with the aluminum frame on a CS. I put 28,500 rds through my initial one, to test to ensure it would hold up. I checked accuracy from 0 rds...and then at 28k...and it was the same...hope this helps..
