You handled the cops perfectly! That first older cop that came up to you...he earned respect ...he got respect. Most of the rest of them got put in their proper places like they should have been! Hopefully the old man that was assaulted is okay.
I know a lot of folks are all about “film everything, it’s your right” but thank you for respecting the privacy of the man who was assaulted. That was a choice that not every auditor makes with any grace. I’m sure it had a lot to do with how you were approached and asked so kuddos to the officer for knowing how to handle himself as well.
Like I suggested earlier to BigNik this is actually a ploy installed by the police to prevent you from filming them what you can say is I can blur the man's image I can make the victim an anonymous person by digitally altering His image but you should still keep photographing because you don't know what will happen and perhaps the police may be lying to you I believe this officer was trying to do the morally correct thing since he is an older officer but does not understand how social media works today yes the victim should be respected but perhaps the victim needed help perhaps a victim wanted video evidence of what has happened I know if I had my ass kicked by somebody I would not mind someone filming it's a show the extent of my injuries and also to show that the police responded in a proper manner I really wish people would not give an excuse to deny the rights of freedom of press it is pretty obvious we can edit footage to protect the victims and we have all heard the phrase the names of the victims have been changed to protect the innocent.....

Deputy wasn't really on his phone when walking to his vehicle; corroborated by the way he quickly put it down, while the Deputy next to him asked a quesiton. He was intimidated by Big Nick! 👏🏼👏🏼 No contest.

I learned about this channel from San Joaquin transparency. they do the same kind of thing that Nick does except in my neck of the woods. HOWEVER, the Constitution is applied from South Florida to South California and everywhere in between. Cops are trained to take charge. Big Nick has learned very well how to also take charge. He does it better because he is much smarter than most cops these days. Avery good teacher.

actually law enforcement officers dont prove guilt or innocence thats for the courts/attorney/jury to decide. LEO's have to determine whether or not they have probable cause to believe a crime is being committed, has been committed or will be committed. just saying

Bad cops yeah they're here...good cops that make snap judgements and decisions they're here too.....but again police do not decide innocent or guilt...if i have enough info...evidence that says to me that you most likely did the crime which comes to probable cause then you're arrested. Yes folks are unfortunately killed by police.....it sucks....and most are suicide by cop and until you have to make that call I would leave that statistic alone.
